You need to be on the latest version of the mod you have to resub to the mod with pavlov closed

theres no axe or trees when loading up the map, does the axe drop from the box?

Grab an axe and find a tree then hold trigger and hit the oak logs when you chopped them down pick them up and bring them to the crafting table and set them down and you should get planks just grab the planks and press left click to build
