I'm building 1 km x 1 km right now (what I thought was big ass for this game) without lag despite a lot of units deployed at the same time. Maybe that helps to narrow down where the "lag threshold" is...

Great mod can be used to make many small scale battles or one large scale laggy as hell battle. It will be missed.

Large enough to make loading the map at least 5 minutes on my PC, but this mod is outdated.

I'll deliver less laggy maps in the future. This is too large. That's why it's abandoned. You can't play in it without lagging.

it's actually just a map, that i made so everyone can put it in their mods. it has no missions, you may have to modify mod.info to the latest version

Hey, I cant find it in editor, when I activate the mod it says outdated mod and then its just not there. Any help? Thanks a lot for the efforts anyway :D

I got a very big map, like 2 big maps for the next World in Conflict mod. If you're at the center of the map, you still can't see the end. They bigger than the one i made for WIC: SL

Too bad to hear, i never had Problem on this Map, may the loading takes a while and can tier down some old PC´s. Just a bit more Ram and SSD might help.

I can't add anything to this map anymore, until i can upgrade and repair my pc,
my pc have become old and slower....so it's laggy to touch this mod. Modders are allowed to make missions and crop and add more things to this map.

i managed to change the mod.info with the curent version. now...... the map is amazingly huge but idk how to spawn units as the side menu shows no icons and it is just blank any help?

Out of curiosity when you spliced the other maps into this one were you able to somehow preserve the heights that the other maps had set? so that there would be hills where there were supposed to be etc.

Or did you just have to redo the dips on your own?

well it's always best to have backup for the missions in case of crash or adding waypoints/script that didn't work your way. For my last 3 mission in my maps i got like 5-7 mission files for safety.
