it says 60 damage but it kills in 3 shots and topples enemies in 2, same for the Mg42

The bullets have a particle that creates a ricochet effect. Originally i wanted it to be random, but i didn't find out how so all bullets do it. You may be confusing the ricochets (do no damage) with the "real" bullets.

was using this gun and had something odd happen. the bullets seem to be firing from a low position and so firing over a wall can sometimes be a problem. had some other issues where i blast enemies at melee range and they didnt take a single hit. idk what happened there they were just walking shoot at my blue allies and i was blasting them, even until the gun almost over heated, and they didnt take any damage. very strange and inconsistent gun at close quarters.

otherwise i like this gun. cool reload, cool overheat animation, excellent fluid recoil, and good sfx.

Lol, i think it's because of how the game handles alternate firemodes, it's not really fixable i think but it'¡s fun

I doubt anyone will read this, but I found an infinite ammunition exploit with this MG 34. While reloading a clip, if you press your switch firemode keybind, you not only get a clip twice as large as should be possible, but full ammunition replenishment.

But when firing normally without leaning to the left this is one of the best mg34 mods out there.

This seems like a good mod until when you lean left and notice that the emptied parts of the belt don't go anywhere while the bullets suddenly vanish into the gun.

The reason for that was mainly that its way easier to change the barrel of the mg34 from behind the gun. You have to do that when the gun overheats.

i will never understand why the 34 kept getting mounted on tanks even when the 42 came out lol
