Whenever I click on the religion tab after publicly adopting the Old Disorganized Heresy my game always crashes :\

I have the Wizarding World mod and i think there is a conflict with the coa when i reform the religion, it uses the coa from the wizarding world mod, can i change the coa of the refomred church in mod file?

Also you can't do the "Prepare grounds" on your counties thanks to the secret cult society

Unfortunetely when you create the disorganized heresy, the other rulers treat you as an infedel and you can't marry or have other diplomatic actions. I guess that you use the pagan code as a base? But since normal religions can't be reformed, maybe it's impossible to make a custom heresy but still be viewed as part of the Crhistianity group

So it works only for catholicsm right?

If only there was an option to personally name the religion.

the heretic thoughts prompt only shows up once and never again, how can I fix this?

How often is this updated? Just a quick question before downloading this and devoting time to it. Seems like a really cool mod, something they should have added to CKII, but now there is no hope for it with CKIII being out and with Vicky III on the way.

I am having the same problem as eagle. it only crashes after i try to change the only site.

@Eagle This crash is usually because of landed titles and holy sites. I'll write it down in a message.

Hi, if you have some time could you tell me how you resolved "the crash to desktop when opening religion tab as heretics bug"? My mod is causing the same issue and I'm not sure why.

if u are lazy and stuff, you can edit the holy sites from the save file, you can find the religion by searching "trex_the_heretics", there you can edit its holy sites and other stuff.

Neat but.. having the ability to choose what ending to put onto the choosable names.. like the dynasty names might be good. 'ist' doesnt work for a lot of things..

Anyone know where to get Custom Faiths?

The decision hasn't appeared for me. I'm using a bunch of mods and am playing Zoroastrain if any of that makes a difference. I can go into more detail when I'm not almost falling off my chair from exhaustion XD

how does one declare a holy site

When I reform the religion if I pick temporal ruler I still end up with collage of cardinals succession

Hello. Once officially converted to a heretic religion, no mater which one, the game crashes immediately when you click on the religion window.
I have no other religion mod. Anybody has the same problem?

Maybe it's a sign that I should never ever create my own heretical religion no matter how badly I want to, even if it's just a game. But dammit I want to.

I can say for certain "Your Custom Heresy" is not in my list. I have tried subscribing/unsubscribing launching and then relaunching the game etc. I'm really at a loss. If it's available on nexus or elsewhere I will try to do a manual install.

@Huxley I don't know what could be causing this. It should be called Your Custom Heresy in the launcher, just like here in the workshop.

I think the workshop might be messed up? It says I'm subbed to the mod but it's not showing up in my mod list no matter what I do.. I downloaded 5 or 6 other mods at the same time and got them loaded without issue.

So just to check if I am supremely stupid what is this mod called in the launcher? My list is long and so I'm wondering if either I'm blind or its ambiguously named rather than some technical shenanigans.

Really really like this Mod but have a few questions: I don't get a COA for the "Church" just a black shield and no priests, bishops, etc are ever able to baptize children or crown my kings: any thoughts about how I can fix this? (I use a ton of Mods so most likely I've got something in there messing with stuff)

@theirishturtle The COA was drawn by me and it's made up. I wanted something neutral looking so I drew a simple cross. Maybe I'll make it better looking sometime.

I found the cause of that bug. It's fixed now.

I wrote the holy book and now my character appears under bloodlines 1,300 times. Since one instance of the bloodline gives +1 learning, +10 same religion opinion, and +5 temple opinion, my monarch is now the most beloved cult leader in the universe with a Learning skill of 1,398. In my opinion this might a little bit game breaking.

You should add this mechanic for other religions, Abrahamic, Pagan and Eastern ones. It might be difficult but we, the players believe that you can handle this.

Great mod, but what about babtism? Can you add this option if your heresy has religious head?:)

few questions:
1, does this still work for 3.3.3?
2, does the bloodline you get count as one of the created ones, or will you still be able to forge your own bloodline?

This was working, but it literally just stopped, no more heresy decision in my intrigue menu.

I'l copy and paste in bugs, I play on 3.2.1 so does that cause a problem?

Also can you crusade if you chose temporal?

@belgfriex, it would be very easy to make the conversion, religion modding in eu4 is quite simply and you have to change (heresy name maps to EUIV name)
