@KingDavid I just tried to recreate it and the pipe bomb explosion cleared the barricade. I’m not sure what happened the first time, the barrels were gone but the “glass panel” with the instructions remained blocking the path. My thought is maybe light splash damage triggered a nearby barrel, which triggered the barricade barrels, and so it was registered as environmental rather than a player caused explosion? Anyway, the pipe bomb does cause it to clear, after all.

Hi @chuckpolk, thanks for reporting this issue. It should be exploding from pipe bombs too, I'll take a look and see if it can find a fix for this.

Great game, even though I was expecting a bit more "alt" in the Alternate Finale! Also, got stuck in the sewers because I ran out of ammo and, instead of going back to the stash, I threw a pipebomb. The barrels exploded but it didn't register as destroying the barricade. Learned the hard way that the barrels must be shot!

I played the original campaign. The ending is truly ---- original. I enjoyed it a lot, so much excitement, even though it's hardly fair for the poor bots😂 All in all, fair yet challenging, definitely one of the best.

to all first time players, do not play the original version

Hey, is anybody else having their character get outright DELETED if you fall of the (original) finale building?

First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for creating such an amazing custom map. Thanks to your work, I have been able to enjoy many fun hours playing it with my friends.

I am a player who enjoys playing the 8+ survivors campaign. Recently, while playing Chapter 4 of your map, specifically the section where we need to collect and detonate 3 gas cans, I encountered an issue where the gas cans do not explode properly. I have tried multiple times, but the same problem keeps occurring, making it difficult to progress through the campaign.

I would like to ask if you are aware of this issue and whether it is possible to fix it. If you could improve this issue, it would greatly enhance the experience for many 8+ survivors campaign players, including myself, allowing us to enjoy the map even more thoroughly.

@Gonzo I'm really not sure why that issue keeps happening, I've made many attempts to fix it but it just seems to be a constant issue. I can have another look soon but it's so intermittent on my end it's hard to test any potential fixes

Good campaign but the Alt Finale is frankly a mess, it works maybe 10% of the time the other 90% is just resetting because the tank and/or horde wont spawn so the finale wont progress I see posts saying the guns are doing this but that is NOT TRUE I have tested it without deploying or even interacting with the guns and it will still bug out so if you do play I would just go with the original finale as it seems alt finale isnt going to get fixed considering how long this has been an issue evidently.

unplayable with bots. got stuck right before the safe room in chapter 1. had to kill them to proceed

Overall 6/10, the map is pretty challenging with the only downsides being a lackluster finale (creative exit, tho) and the levels are super long.

There's bugs by the first area's saferoom for singleplayer, after messing with the valves, if you jump off the railing on the other side, the bots will get stuck and you'll have to kill them. However, its avoidable by going down the ladder.

Radio for pick up but nothing happen, this has happened a couple of times now.

The point of the port was to keep the original campaign intact the way it was originally designed, I added an alternate finale that is less chaotic for the people who prefer it as an option.

You couldn't have made the finale shittier than this

would be nice if u add more tanks in the finale since the multiple 50 cals around shreds the tank pretty fast

救援关场景混乱

Hands down the best map I've played in L4D. Brings back so many memories, and the fan service is amazing. Makes me want to play Dead Island as soon as possible. Great recreation of some of the best levels of the game. Thank you!
