never had an issue with it working on Windows 11, it does have an issue where you might need to change the bridge type after building as the UI seems to go out of sync

hey i noticed that this mod doesnt work with build anyways! might look into that. Anyways it works pretty good for me but if i try to build low over other railways i do need to use build anyways so thats a bummer for me

At the moment the mod doesn´t work at all for me and my railways. only for streets :-( No bridges for Tracks

Couldn't you just change the minimum bridge height instead? We could still select the terrain bridge option to have no bridge, and it would allow us to preview the bridge and to properly use modded bridges.

@Tom50936 - I think our pleas - and there have been a number of people here saying so - that the selection process is fundamentally flawed have fallen on deaf ears. Given the popularity of mods such as the British Girder Bridges, how difficult is it to either incorporate them into this mod as a required file to make it work correctly?

Likewise, as bridge mods have to be configured in a specific way for the game to recognise them, can the scripting process herein be adapted to scan for bridge configuration files within the savegame's mod list?

Even trying to offset the bridges as you've done, i.e. 5 down from the one you want, this doesn't work for me at all. I'm now becoming somewhat adept at building my own buttresses, retaining walls and embankments.

Same problem here, but is it not random. In my selectbox, i have to take the bridge 5 points down, then it is the on I want.
Guess there are Problems with the "Girder Bridge Mod".

Need some help with this. When I enable the setting and choose a bridge in the selector, the bridge that actually gets built is seemingly random. For example, if I select an iron bridge, I actually get a modded viaduct bridge instead. When I select to build that modded viaduct bridge in the list, I actually get a stone arch bridge from your other mod.

Any way to fix this, or is this just broken now for everyone?

This is a great mod. We really need the same for tunnels - build a tunnel from 0 depth so you can override the game's decision, to establish a dirt mound you can align track over

@[3.19]Icemaster this is also for you. I tried it and it gives you 2 sliders, min bridge height and min tunnel depth so not really like your mod but you can get bridges/tunnels on lower heights/depths

unfortunately this mod stopped working for me. often times no bridge will be build and if a bridge is build its a random one and not the one I selected in the menu. hope this will be fixed but seems this mod is dead... maybe someone else will come up with a working mod that forces bridges

HI buddy, always wondered if it is possible to do it the other way round.. a mod like "force tunnel" where tracks are always build underground.. what do you think about that?

I am a fan of your mods.Thanks for that.I have a problem with the mod. When I want to select the bridges, it does not take the bridge I have selected. It only works with the UG bridges.
Example: I select bridge type A in your selection window and bridge type B is built.
Can you please help me

@Jimbo_1977 - it still is with me, random guess work involved in trying to get the right selection. It's seriously hit and miss much of the time, and in some cases I've settled for what it's given me because it's proven impossible to get the right one.

@jvp - I have the same issue with the bridge that is placed being nowhere close to the one in the menu that I've selected. I've changed it in load order so that it's the last one loaded, i.e. after all the bridge mods, but still no difference.

Seems to work quite well for me. I have also experienced cases where the type of bridge I select is not the one that's getting built, however that was with a heavily modded save I've been playing on and (mostly) off almost since first release of the game. If I start a new game with the same modlist then the bridges seems right, so perhaps the mod get's confused by "ghosts" from old mods no longer present, which the game itself just ignores...

Nothing happens with this mod enabled and the H0 Bridge feature activated. The networks are still forced on elevated ground embankments.

@XxGoldenOnexX Yes and no. Keep in mind that this mod hasn't been updated with features for over a year. It works, but it's ug you wanna go after for making this game painful to work with.

Looks like the menu to select the bridge type is bugged because I get a different model then I choose.

@Enzojz, the developers implemented a new experimental feature to control the max height of bridges and tunnels in the beta version. But the actual game implementation have it's lowest height limit at 2m. Do you think is possible to change the way this mod works, making it force the in-game implementation to allow 0 height? Thanks. =)

Tried again with this after not using it for a long time and doesn't seem to provide the required effect and when opening the interface to select the style of bridge, it hangs my game every time.

I found out how to get it to work: place a few roads first, then it'll start forcing the ones placed afterwords to be bridges.

Yeah, I managed to make it work in the end.... I also noticed I need to click bridge 1st, there I found different types of bridges.....Than I build the selected bridge....3 clicks up... The good part, I am able to build a road under it as well.... Not sure why it is not but the default 4 click up, is often way to high and completely out of proportion

@rb58nl Make sure you have turned it "on". You can try on a flat simple terrain to practice, sometimes this mod does nothing since the game refuse the proposal made by the mod, in this case you may need to find out the constraint from the game.

I am not sure if i am doing wrong BUT when I go up by 3 x clicks (4 x clicks is in-game default height for bridges) I am not getting any bridge, the game keeps creating the standard earth works. I noticed a previous comment from Charly.. It would be nice to have some answer back from your side to address the issue.. Your MOD does not work for me at this stage

First of all, thank you were this excellent mod! Finally it is possible to build elevated urban railways at a realistic height. Im having an issue building turnouts on zero height bridge sections, I always get a collision error. Is this a known issue and is there any possibility of fixing it?
