Weird this was never fixed
Autumnchain 22. feb. 2022 kl. 12:06
Can I use your picture? I want to make a WH1 version of this mod.
Big Sneeze 13. sep. 2021 kl. 1:09
Kislev.
Rookwood 9. sep. 2021 kl. 16:31
Why is it we have to target Kisleve anyway I dont get why I would as the empire have to cripple them anyway was it just a choice by the dev's
Gars 18. juli 2021 kl. 5:03
Thank you for updating the mod, a must have for me since I hate the idea of having to do serious damage to Kislev just to get an item. Will be interesting to see if CA changes the quest or not in WH3.
Ritter Ayla 14. juli 2021 kl. 20:50
thanks!
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 14. juli 2021 kl. 11:04
Updated for new DLC!
Khairus 29. maj 2021 kl. 16:47
Thank you for this mod.. That targeting Kislev thing never made sense to me and so I always just skipped this quest.. this mod fixes the issue .. I really should have looked for this a long time ago lol
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 19. mar. 2021 kl. 3:30
Yes, as far as I know.
Unless CA fixed it without mentioning in the patch notes.
Krimson 18. mar. 2021 kl. 15:33
Is the original quest still targeting Kislev?
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 28. jan. 2021 kl. 7:36
Thanks for the comment Seal.
You are right, I checked the files with that in mind and found the alternative if that staged is cancelled. It is indeed to raid some Kislev regions.

Lampros, I didn't mind it that much in Warhammer I since Kislev was useless and got stomped 90% of my games but they seem to have changed their diplomacy behaviour so we can get trade early now and somehow made them competent so it's a waste to attack them.
Lampros 28. jan. 2021 kl. 7:20
It puzzles me that the devs put Kislev as the target of this quest in the first place. Spectacularly stupid.
Hort 27. jan. 2021 kl. 11:21
Only just discovered this mod and can't thank you enough! I never liked having to attack Kislev as they buffer Norsca, Chaos, and Moulder, and are reliable allies.

The game changes the quest if Kislev is wiped out. The mission will change to raiding Eastern Oblast if I recall correctly. Not sure how this affects this mod though but if that data wasn't changed then I'd imagine this criterion would take effect.
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 5. dec. 2020 kl. 13:44
Good question, I have no idea.
What would happen if Kislev was wiped out before the mission?
The mod only changes the target of the quest, so in the end it depends on how the game handles this kind of thing.
There might be some mechanism in place but it's out of my control.
Ritter Ayla 5. dec. 2020 kl. 13:04
Hey just wondering what if all the vampire counts have been wiped out before you get the mission?
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 4. dec. 2020 kl. 4:52
Updated for The Twisted & The Twilight
Calibrated 27. okt. 2020 kl. 13:38
so not needed with sfo @horrowshow90?
AfternoonParrot 11. aug. 2020 kl. 10:01
SFO actually also you make you deal with vampire counts so this mod is unnecessary for SFO.
No.213 9. juli 2020 kl. 8:38
Thank you very much.
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 6. juli 2020 kl. 7:10
Thanks for the confirmation!
Lobuno 5. juli 2020 kl. 2:57
Works fine with SFO.
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 26. maj 2020 kl. 16:22
It should work fine based on their code but I never played a campaign with it so can't confirm for sure.
Wazuuf 26. maj 2020 kl. 16:14
Does this clash with SFO in any way
Mr Slippyfist 21. maj 2020 kl. 15:48
nice, just what I was looking for. Hope this works for SFO, ill try and come back here to report if it does. Wondering why ca dont fix stuff like this themselfs, why would I want to attack Kislev lol. Thank you!
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 21. maj 2020 kl. 13:39
Upload for DLC
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 21. maj 2020 kl. 10:18
Hey @GIGroundNPound, just getting back to this.

I highly doubt this would break in any way.
Worst case scenario SFO overwrites my changes and you get the vanilla behaviour.

It's almost impossible for it to mess up your campaign.
GIGroundNPound 26. apr. 2020 kl. 14:05
Can someone specify if this will work with SFO II? I understand that the code should not conflict, but I just want to make sure prior to starting a new game and potentially screwing everything up lol!
Warp Pirate 25. apr. 2020 kl. 8:38
Thank you, I never get Volkmar because of that stupid quest requirement.
Re degli Ebrei 8. apr. 2020 kl. 11:31
Thanks :D
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 8. apr. 2020 kl. 11:24
I haven't run a campaign with SFO but looking at the code for their mod, they make no changes to that quest. So I'm pretty sure it will work.
Re degli Ebrei 8. apr. 2020 kl. 8:42
SFO compatible? If by any chance you know it of course.
Gejnor 7. apr. 2020 kl. 1:53
Better late than never, good work!

Kislev.
Okrund Thunderfire 30. mar. 2020 kl. 20:11
Thank you
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 30. mar. 2020 kl. 15:08
Alright, pushed a change to update the descriptions of quest stages that mention Kislev to mention Undead or be generic.
Okrund Thunderfire 29. mar. 2020 kl. 17:35
Would it be possible for you to adjust the flavor text so that it reflects the changes this mod makes?
Vollhov 27. mar. 2020 kl. 8:51
Oh yeah!! Thank you very much !
Woizer 26. mar. 2020 kl. 11:24
too late for my empire campaign but definitely essential
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 26. mar. 2020 kl. 5:03
Sorry Okrund, I don't get your question.

The mod changes the requirements from sacking 2 Kislev settlements to sack 2 Vampire Counts settlements. The flavour text was not changed but as the mod image shows, the requirements are changed and by hovering over the Vampire Counts name it shows all vampire factions.
Okrund Thunderfire 25. mar. 2020 kl. 19:14
Is the quest involving this quest altered as well, so that it dosen't tell us to ransack kislev but instead the vampires like the mod changes?
fan_of_Daniil_Andreev 24. mar. 2020 kl. 17:43
Kislev.
Beyshan 23. mar. 2020 kl. 10:45
Oh Sigmar bless you for this mod. This quest line always annoyed me.
Archarius 23. mar. 2020 kl. 1:42
@the-town-drunk oh so it left unchanged for now
thx for the quick answer :)
AkumulatoR 22. mar. 2020 kl. 16:37
This is probably the stupidest quest stage in the game. CA really did get better with quests in WH2. Thanks for that mod, will come in handy when I'm doing Empire in the future.
A Hobo 22. mar. 2020 kl. 16:10
Finally, the perfect mod.
Ben 22. mar. 2020 kl. 13:49
@Machine Gun Eddie Simple. It was since the first Lord DLC pack The Grim and The Grave. AKA: Volkmar wants to beat the crap out of Ghorst and he's looking for places where he has his operations. And one of the places are sadly in Kislev. Thus you must go and sack/raze two settlements to uncover his dastardly plans.
SirFalger 22. mar. 2020 kl. 12:42
little mod made all the diffrence.
im not familure with lore on why u have 2 sack kislev
the-town-drunk  [ophavsmand] 22. mar. 2020 kl. 12:31
Thanks for the comments everyone!

@Archa0n I haven't modified the behaviour in that case. By what I can see in the db, you need to move a character to one of the Oblast provinces (south, north or east).
Archarius 22. mar. 2020 kl. 10:51
And in case vampire counts are dead already, you need to send agent to Sylvania, like you did before with Kislev province, right?
General Hawk 22. mar. 2020 kl. 9:17
great!
Ben 22. mar. 2020 kl. 5:44
THIS. THIS IS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! No more wars with Kislev. Now I can just go and make reliable trade agreements. Always thought this was horribly counter-productive and stupid. CA didn't even change that at all to like have heroes enact actions against two Kislev settlements since from the P.O.V. of the Empire, this would've been a horrible idea to start wars with Kislev, the first line of defense against Norsca and Warriors of Chaos. I can finally go and play happily without this idiocy.
