This mod would get more positive attention if the alt that gives her the right skin color were the default & were featured in the pictures so people wouldn't think it's a "She's white. Take it or leave it." situation.

I quite like the style, and overall feel of the character. I would make her side special faster on start-up, and her pirate hat do more damage. Great mod!

also to label a mod "finished" just put finished = 1 in config

some things i can suggest is giving animations like up tilt and dash attack an end lag animation, right now they just snap shantae into her idle in a very awkward matter.

Hello, I just want everyone to know that, I am NOT going to change how shantae looks. Please. It’s just my style. If you look at my other mods, you can see that all of them fallow this trend where they kinda look like Kirby. I did this because my mod can look more unique from others. Comment saying you want a full sprite change, but sadly I’m NOT going to do it. I’m 14. I’m doing this for fun. I just want everyone to know that. Thanks for listening

Those are some nice sprites but they don't really suit Shantae, they'd suit a Kirby character or something more cutesy

Okay good so you did the right thing, but it doesn't mean you have the right to remove the comments.

I understand the amount of work it probably took to draw over all the sprites, but I really think you would've been better just slightly editing the Original Pirate's Curse/Risky's Revenge sprites and giving them an outline, the tracing is kind of off in a lot of areas, and the shades really aren't distinct enough
the moveset also needs some reworking it's kind of simple and not as inspired, I see you took some Inspiration from Smash Bros Crusade so I'd actually recommend looking at how they implemented her
Also don't do the 18+ skin
it just looks a bit silly
