Seconding that the mod is bugged, has a typo (colonizeable written instead of colonizable).
there is a compatibility issue with the "UI Overhaul Dynamic" mod which makes uninhabited worlds get marked as habitable for purposes of crafting megastructures (which, in turn, causes most megastructures to be unbuildable). seems to work fine without the UI mod from what i can tell.
Typo: "colonizeable_planet"
Correction: "colonizable_planet"
It's causing the game to not allow megastructures to be build on planets. The error message in-game saying it must be surveyed and on a non-habitable world.
You can fix this by going to the workshop folder yourself and changing each text file in it or wait for the author to update.
The new Aetherophasic engine will also not block construction when upgrading.
I am still working on an idea to remove these restrictions without overwriting the megastructure files, but not found a solution yet, since the restrictions are still in the files directly :/
"you like ring worlds? TRIPLE TIER RINGWORLD EACH ONE WITH 24 SEGMENTS" or something ridiculous. xD I just want something reasonable lmao
I've no idea what is possible, but it struck me that having the scaling limit be affected by Master Builders and Architectural Renaissance Ambition would make it feel more smoothly integrated into the game. Just a thought. Keep up the great work :-)
It actually annoys me a bit, so I might ask the gigastructure guy if I can make an edit to remove the limits
