@meatball - Food for thought. Thanks, Meatball.

Shoudn't cause any chaos at all if you push a V2 and leave this up with a [DEPRECATED] sign. =)

@Muhfrosch - Thanks. Not as much work as I should have. The mesh is not optimized. I've thought about giving it a re-do but it's used on so may assets, I'm weary of the possible chaos it would cause.

Best coupler I've seen. Gee I wanna make something similar for Europe and Asia , too. Is it difficult? How much work did you put into it? Cheers.

@ themeatballhero - Oh yeah. The only thing to watch out for concerning the car's bounding box information is covered about three or four comments down this page. That's to give the appearance of the couplers being interlocked. Was that what you meant?
themeatballhero 31. jan. 2021 kl. 10:59
hmm, maybe, i just remember there were instructions for the bounding box and stuff, idr lol

@ themeatballhero - Yeah, I think it's still up on the TpF1 workshop page. I'm not sure. I didn't bring it over because those were instructions for copy/pasting all the files into each individual project, which is not very resource efficient.
themeatballhero 31. jan. 2021 kl. 9:54
hey didnt you have instructions somewhere for this?

Ah awesome! Thank you so much :D

@ gouthrodavid - If the couplers don't look like they are connected, then that sounds like the car's "boundingInfo" section at the top of the car's .mdl file. The "x" and "-x" values have to match the position of the coupler. The "boundingInfo" section of the .mdl is what REALLY determines where two cars couple up.
gouthrodavid 23. mar. 2020 kl. 6:23
its the positioning i'm not figuring out. the mod works but looks like the couplers are not connected, so far i only tried it with 1900 dating. the era i've been using it for is probably wrong as well

@ Ant Craft - I hadn't planned on bringing them to TpF2 as there were much better UK crossings made since that time, but if someone wants them, I'll put them on the list. Thanks.
Ant Craft 22. mar. 2020 kl. 21:26
I know this is unrelated to this, but is there any plans to bring your UK crossings mod over to TPF2? Being someone who lives in the UK, I really loved that mod in TPF1 and would love to see it back again :D

@ gouthrodavid - There probably is a better way of explaining how to use this. Are you trying to add the coupler to a 3D project you're working on? What particular problem are you having? I'll try to explain it better. Thanks.
gouthrodavid 20. mar. 2020 kl. 4:18
is there a better set of instructions on how to use this properly? maybe something visual?

@ n.chiri - I've got a lot of irons in the fire but I do intend to eventually have them all converted over.
