The shields are great. I have been looking for a mod t increase the size of these shields for some time. Thank you for uploading it.

the larger one is the best in my opinion

I like em all, the larger one looks coolest to me.

The medium is a good size leave it the way it is, otherwise it looks to big.

i dont suppose you could make a mod where you can craft hold guard armour too, because i hate having to kill guards to do it. if this has been done by someone else i'm sorry but i didnt know- and i have looked

have you thought about releasing the mod in three separate sizes? i liked the regular sized shields

Oh, and Hvergelmir's Shield Retexture mod, which isn't showing up, either.

I have subscribed to your mod, but it doesn't show in my data files and doesn't appear to be working in-game (shield crafting isn't showing up at the forge). The only other mods I have are the Hermit's Treehouse and the Ancient Nord Light Armor mods).

yeah thanks, i ended up just making my own mod and copy/pasting the vanilla hold shields then edited them to light and made them craftable i think that was the path of least resistance i needed to take. thanks for the info tho appreciate it.

you'd have to use the original models and extract them from the .bsa. From there extract my shield overhaul.bsa into the skyrim data files and replace the correct shield model with the original extracted from the meshes.bsa. Got it?

do you have a version with the vanilla shield size as a backup? or even one with them slightly smaller than vanilla for a more buckler shield look.

@WildAce The models will need to be edited in their nif format. It can be a little technical but not overly hard to do.

how can i get the vanilla size back? can it be done easily in the CK or do i need an outside program to do it?

i really like being able to craft them but i cant stand the large size when im making a rogue they are just out of place being so big.

i dont mind resizing them my self if its pretty simple to do.

PS If it can be done can you make it iron or steel?

They should need at least twice that much firewood, they only have an iron trim, otherwise, they're just wooden disks.

yay do u have to have a smithing perk to do it? and also this is helpful because i pick a side and now i cant get the sheid cuz its imperial solders

Does this mod give the guards these shields?

Then you should increase your screen brightness or soemthing because I can see detail and sizes easily. Their dark due to more realistic lighting mods.

Pictures are too dark for me to see any detail on the shields. or the shields at all.

Resized so now they are slightly larger.

@Boom1axe I understand it is a guard shield and should be restricted to guards and that's why I'm not making craftable guard armor. The shields are basically just wooden shields with a paint job that anybody who had the patience could recreate. As owning a shield isn't a crime it doesn't really give away from the sense of being a guard-only shield. Hopefully this will balance the shields slightly.

@XamaX I'll try to make them bigger but it may take a bit of time since I'll be away from my main modding rig and using a secondary means of adjusting this.

Love the idea, can you make them bigger too? This whole game I've been desireing a big Viking sheild to use with my battle axe :)

make it craftble? you should have made it so there be shild you can have in the holds gard towers or in the jails? sorry this is gard gear do you see the police let people make badges so they can look like a cop other then a costume party? other then that i like the idea there wooden shilds and should be light i just never under stand why gard gear has no power in the game other then a reagler useble gear? so sad :(
