丢雷楼某, Hi. I may be wrong (especially since I never modded weapons) but I think "lib/shiputility.lua" is responsible for adding turrets to generated ships. I stopped playing and modding the game several years ago. I suggest asking in the modding channel in the official Discord.

I have no itentions of doing that since it seems to create quite a load on the server. But you're free to make a mod yourself.
