I have a lot of thoughts on this mod, and while I love the idea of support for the Mark debuff, this doesn't work for me. Separating apply from trigger is an interesting idea, but 5 of the 9 cards do literally nothing on their own. PP is a card that wants support, but 5 cards here want PP as support. Pin Point Defense is a 1 energy uncommon that beats the Heart (or any multi hit enemy) on its own. North Star is like catalyst+ that hits ALL enemies. PP's fast scaling and AOE effect limit design space but I feel like you haven't explored very much. This is a mod so you CAN change PP's ALL enemies effect. You could create a single target version of the effect. 8 of 9 of these cards don't interact with watcher's other mechanics, or apply any other effect. Chi Block is interesting but requires support to do anything at all. Why not let some cards apply weak or reduce strength by 1 for a turn or something new? Yes i know PP could become OP, but you can just change PP.

I cannot play this mod. I just turned on basemod, stslib and this and game's just crashed. MTS says your mod uses 2020 verison of STS, so I changed game's version to that version but it didn't help. Could you fix this problem? If I send something, can it help to fix the problem?

North star also doesnt work with the X spell relic "chemical X". It doesnt get 2 extra triggers from the relic. Hopefully this can be fixed! I very much enjoy what this mod does for the watcher.

There is 1 card that insanely overperforms which is Pin point defense. it invalidates any fight with multiple or multi hit enemies and tends to give far much block for so little investment especially with multiple. My suggestion would be to split its effects into 2 powers or move it up to rare.

However, I believe that slow dance is somewhat underperforming/punishing to use. Due to its unplayable punishing nature it feels like a curse in your deck. My suggestion would be to model this card after blasphemy. 1 or 2 cost + retain on upgrade.

The "first strike" card feels ok with it upgrading in power but the flavor feels weird with it not gaining innate on upgrade.

North Star feels very satisfying to use. However, I dont think it needs to end your turn after its use unless there is some balance reason behind that. the turn ending feels somewhat awkward

I enjoy how well the cards fit in with the rest of what watcher can do

Ok, I understand now, I can modify the base Pressure Points, but the mod was designed to work with the base game Pressure Points and you also have to consider that some of the balance comes from the randomness of which cards you can manage to obtain during a run. I have done some balance testing but not exhaustively.

If the mark archetype really does feel consistently overpowered across multiple runs to you, then maybe I'll look into it :)

Um, you know Pressure Points is a base game card right? It's not a card that's added by this mod

If you can change Pressure Points that way I'd consider losing the all enemies lose HP section but changing it to mark say 3 random enemies with 3 or 4 mark each. That way it loses the part that, IMO, makes it over powered but gains a little more utility and flexibility. Maybe it's just me. :)

I love your mod, but it's clearly overpowered with Pressure Points. If it's possible I'd remove the all enemies lose HP equal to their mark section of it's text. Or maybe add some sort of significant disadvantage to using it or something. The 8 mark is plenty for it to be very competitive. Otherwise Pressure Points quickly makes the character completely over powered, IMO. I know it's an original card, but I'm hoping there is something you can do.

Otherwise, excellent work. It really makes the character far more interesting.

Yeah, it was a change I was contemplating but didn't get round to as I have moved on to other projects but it's been updated now so that First Strike is always playable.

I've played this mod a lot for a while, only problem I can come up with is that 3 common cards are kinda useless even in a mark deck.It will definitely be perfect if that get updated.:steamsad:

Hi torrentals, let me try explaining to you what 光头恶霸isaac has said.
Generally he suggests replacing one certain card in Watcher's start deck(or Eruption and Vigilance) with one Pressure Points(or just a weakened version of it), because he thinks the frequency with Mark being triggered is too low otherwise.

HyperInvox : A nice suggestion but the mod is based more on Chinese culture (with some Japanese influences) as opposed to Hindi.

mod很棒,但是因为印记的特殊性(只能通过 点穴 触发,请问是否可以将基础卡组中的一张卡改成 点穴 。或者将初始的两张姿态改成一张 点穴 ,或者给一张弱化版的 点穴 也行,否则印记的触发率实在太低了

Thanks for the input. I've played around with the cost of one thousand needles in the past, and I found that the card is overall a bit more powerful than Flurry and Weave as those two do flat damage, whereas one thousand needles does increasing damage. The middle ground I found was to give Refund 1 to the upgraded version, essentially making it free as long as you have at least 1 energy.

Glad to see the new version! Bugs with Acupuncture Kit indeed get fixed. Upgrading North Star still makes no difference but it's a little thing.
The big thing is the text is still in English under Simplified Chinese environment.

Thanks for the translations, I've merged the pull request and will be included in the next release. 1 to 4 sounds like bugs so I'll need to look into them, but number 5 is actually intended, that's sort of why they're two separate powers, instead of one :)

Bugs(I think) feedback:
1. Acupuncture Kit doesn't take effect for upgraded cards.
2. Acupuncture Kit doesn't take effect for Pin Point Defense.
3. Acupuncture Kit takes effect only once for North Star.
4. Upgrading North Star makes no difference.
(So if you play North Star when owning Acupuncture Kit, you will apply 1 mark X times plus 1 mark and then trigger it X times.)
5. A displaying error takes place on powertips of Pin Point Defense. The values are mismatched between "defense" and "counter".
