It's for additional effects only, if you don't want it, it should work without it.

@Dak If it doesn't work, you can edit the vpk and change, edit the script.

@Dak My mod has a script, but it only chages the hud icon, so maybe it can work, i never tried it myself tho.

The Combat arms mod is for the better firing sound it changes the pitch of the sound so it become...better :)
