Sounds like you may've done something else to change the vehicle spawner. To fix it, walk back any changes you made since it last worked.
It could also be that one of the mods you're using has been altered by the author to include changes to the vehicle spawner. In which case, welcome to the wonderful world of Having To Write And Publish Your Own Mod. This is a perk that comes with tons of random hate, weird comments, attempted friending and Helpful Suggestion. You'll love it.

The heli started randomly spawning! not sure if this is something I can change?

Also, is there any way you can adjust the damage to some vehicles? Several seem to damage very quickly and catch fire; others fall through the map if they flip.

Hi Theeman, it's not that likely to get extra cars at this point as the mod is already pretty big and dumps a lot of cars on the map.

Celena, you have to manually spawn it, using an admin mod. It's not great, so it wasn't wanted as a regularly spawning vehicle.

I added the Subaru mod to my server, it works with your mod, it's a great addition. Thanks for the reply. Still wish I could find a working lambo/audi mod...

Celena - realistically this isn't going to be added to unless Grogan wants something bad enough - it's only here on workshop because it's the only way to have the ultra vehicles mod with extra cars, and leave the ability to add more custom cars as they appear on workshop without breaking the rest of the mod like the original does.

It's set up so that each spawner type is seperate, that way you can add your own custom spawners, or use an add-on one as long as it's written properly.

Terrytrickz - The helicopter is only partially implemented by the game, flight controls require the use of an xbox controller. It's in there because Grogan wanted to play around with it.

There isn't really an easy way to set it up for you to adjust the speeds, and most of the people who're using this (I don't), are using it for the sheer amount of cars it gives. You could write your own spawners, name them the same (they're all set up so that it'd be fairly easy to do) and then reduce the numbers that way.

It would be really nice to be able to adjust the speeds of some of these vehicles, because some of them are just stupid fast. Most of my players are saying that their computers cannot load fast enough for the vehicles to handle well, as they stutter while the environment loads before them. Also, for as small a map as this is, this mod gives us, according to my database, 367 vehicles, including boats, jetskis, bicycles, quads, motorcycles, HMMVV, APCs, taxis, sedans, police cars of assorted types, Mil vehicles, and batmobiles and "Nightwing" mobiles. I'd like to be able to reduce that somewhat. Currently, many bases around the map have as many as thirty vehicles parked outside them, like breakers yards of the apocalypse.

You can write your own additions, upload them as a mod and then set it to load after this one- you'd need to replace the spawners and add the skin, mtl and textures and write your new skin into the new spawner. You can use the same process to replace all the spawners and give them different vehicle amounts/despawn time etc.

Also I am trying to replace the Batmobile with the Heavy Raider that you removed from Stouts package,
I tried a replacement (uploading a second mod that overights info ) however i came across an issue of a crash every time i came across a spawned batmobile, there are tons across the map, so i was wondering how i would go about adding the heavy raider onto the same spawn cycle as the batmobile,


as i plan to then decrease the number and spawn rate n longevity of the batmobile to the oint that most despawn then change the number to 0 for batmobile after all have despawned and remove that the spawner info from my mod so that only the heavy raider remained in production while all the batmobile have been retired.

A is it possible to put them on the same spawn timer, b do you think its possible to remove all the batmobiles this way, i looked at the mod you had mentioned about wiping cars and it seems like a its no longer up to date, b this is more than likly how he coded his mod

I have an additional skin for the HMMVV is it possible to add the skin via a seperate mod that also has a duplicate of your hmvv spawner file that adds a % t o spawn that skin, will that work or is there a max number of skins that can be pulled so i have to overight an exsisting skin



ALso i see a yacht, is this possible to spawn in the game? i dont see any code responsible for acualy spawning in either your (whihc is hard to look need to decompile) or stoutmans, would be awesome to get it into the game on the river or out in the ocean

Taznar, It's been set downwards to 2 weeks at the moment.
HAIUD, right click, copy page url. ID is the number.
TOXA, they're not encoded, they're binaried. It's pretty simple to decompile them, google lua decompile.
You can also write your own spawner and substitute that in a mod you load afterwards. Spawners are set up per original vehicle and named as such, just write new ones with the same name, in the same file structure. That way you get the updates, plus have a custom spawner setup.

Lokki, Can you upload only non-encoded spawn files separately? so that you can simply add them to your mod, and you can put it in the boot order after your mod and it will overwrite the original spawn files from your mod without affecting it or changing it

A great mod, but it would be even better if you let yourself edit the spawn files (change the number and time of saving the car) too many cars and cost too much.

No worries at all, it's something I'm not happy about as I was hoping to be able to fix it in code (I'm not a 3d modeller). But, I'm learning the ins and outs of 3ds max while I'm learning to do skin exports and other things, so I will eventually get back to the cars and re-work them completely.
Not from Michigan either, I just didn't bother retexturing the plates and gps. It's also on the list!
I suspect the "original" modeller released them, then they got swept up by others offering them for free download. If I ever find out who it was, I'll credit them in the listing.

I appreciate the response. It's certainly not a big deal to me regarding the occasional glitch. You put together an awesome Mod to which I say, "Thank you!" And, I now have an explanation for those who play on my servers. Keep up the great work! As far as a fix... Meh... WHen and if you get around to it... The newer vehicle models were originally set up for cryengine5, which expects slightly different things. The physical proxies need re-working because of this, otherwise sometimes they do weird things like fall through the world or get stuck. It'll happen sooner or later, when I get time.
No pattern for colours, it's random.

Excellent attention to detail. Kudos to whomever created the mod for the Charger... The interior and license plate leads me to believe he or she is from Michigan due to the license plate as well as the WAZE GPS indicating I94 East) The handling of all of the vehicles is well improved!

quick update - reduced speed of the BMW, cop car and Buggy by 10% to increase their stability. Removed towcars in favor of more HMMVs

This adds 281 vehicles to the island. Includes HMMV, improved mustang, charger cop car, BMW M4 and the bad boy buggy. HMMV and the APC now have breakaway parts...no more getting your antennae caught on things

Mnewrath actually fixed up the texture types a while back, it makes them shine properly when metal is metal, glass is glass, etc.
