Does this have all the expansions? It looks like there was a Lecarde Chronicles expansion, but I don't think I see that here.

am I missing something? the game setup asks me to shuffle curse cards into the encounter deck (event deck??) but the cards are different sizes and can't be stacked together.

I play as it doubling the total damage, same goes for Stone/Poison weakness, cause since the rules (at least in the version I have) just says that about weaknesses.

Appreciate the latest update making the game playable again!

Had a quick ruling question about weaknesses. If any enemy is weak to an attack do you double the damage of each die rolled or just the total damage? Also if any enemy is weak to poison or stone do they get the status condition or is just double damage? I know you aren't the original designer just wasn't sure if this was stated somewhere that I overlooked. Thanks!

That I'm glad to hear and I'm sure Brandon is glad too. Its just that the Latest version I have added in the Bloodstained Hunters bosses and monsters along with Gestu Fuma too (All made by me and well play tested). But Still I don't want to leave it in the shadows we all want people to experience it. I just wish i can re upload mine as well but its all good ^^

I'm aware of your version, but when I saw years back that y'all kept it private, I took the most updated thing I could find throughout space and time, and never thought of asking or pestering anyone for more, so no worries there.

My intention is to keep it functioning in this state, out of my own volition, as a way to mostly keep it alive, not needing to hide it in the shadows, at least in some way to honor how great this creation is and allow more people to experience it.

I'm glad this is still being kept up. I'm one of the original TTS porter of this boardgame. Its how I've met the boardgame maker :). I have the more recent updated version but its sadly personalized by me and its private or I would have shared it but I'm keeping Brandon's word and trust. All in all in the end of the day the game still lives on and I'm sure he is more happy for that.

Game has been updated to work properly again, no models needed to play the game are missing.

The models from google docs were taken down, but they we're simple table flair.

Greetings! It's written in the game manual. If you have inmunity to all attack atributes, you don't receive any damage. If you have inmunity to at least one of them, but not the rest, you only receive half the damage.

About the altered status, you are affected by them from the next turn after the combat and so on, but the normal damage is done as always. There is a practical example of this up in the thread. :cozybrawlhalla1:

Hello quick question about Immunities! Putting it simply, I don't get quite how they work in regards to multiple elements. If you're immune to half of a monsters damage types, do you take 1 less damage? Half damage? No damage? Same question but applied to enemies with 3 or even 4 potential elements

Also! Do all Poison, Stone, And Curse enemies automatically inflict their ailments? Or do only specific enemies do?

Is Nathan Graves supposed to only have one primary weapon, or are we missing a couple of cards somehow? There were some errors on meshes when we loaded. Could those be the missing meshes?

Lecarde Aura Coin is treated the same as Equipping an Item (Free Off-combat, Cost two hearts During Combat)

About how the Lecarde interaction with aura coin, I dunno if there's a specific rule on it. In any case, I'd go for what works best in your playthrough.

About solo play, I don't think there's additional things you need to do.

No idea how efrain Lecarde with the aura coin works. Is it just change at will? do you need to take the auras in sequence 1-5?

A very good board game, I was surprised how the creator added characters from different games, even from H64, the only thing I don’t really like is that there are a lot of counters that you have to constantly divide, but I still like the game

Pachinko: Only lose the item if you roll 2 scythes.

Sonic Boots: With a 0 movement roll, you still add the extra movement. Same goes for Winged Boots or anything that affects movement.

Funny you ask about the remake. For the past 2-3 years I've been focused on some other games, and only working on the remake sporadically, but now it's my top priority. I've been working on it every day for a few months, making a lot of progress, and I'm really excited about how it's coming out. It's not just a straight retheme, it will have the same feel and the way the game progresses will be similar, but I made major changes to the movement and combat mechanics. More strategy and control, less frustrating randomness. I don't want to talk too much about how it works just yet, because it's still going to be a while, but I'm looking to have at least a playable demo on TTS in a few months, and when I do I'll make sure to comment here and let you guys know about it.

Yes, this was a heartwarming surprise (I've asked the question here as I didn't find any post later than 2020 on internet and suposed you were offline with this topic). I love this game!

Thank you for the clarification and, without any intention of being greedy, I'll ask a pair of things I found playing minutes ago.

-About the Pachinko: do you lose every item you bet, or is it only the case when you get two scythes? As a couple of friends and I were 40 minutes re-betting the same item until we got the scythes. xD

-About the sonic boots: do you get the "movement +3" even if your # roll is 0? (I play it as if not, as it says "improves" the movement by 3, so idk).

Oh, and I'm curious about the project of make a new game with the mechanics of NotT. It that still in progress or is going to be discontinued?

After all this time I can't believe anyone even still knows who I am, I'm flattered. I'm still subscribed to this thread. People don't ask questions as often as they used to, and there may not be anyone else around to answer. I don't mind answering rules questions, because the rules are my creation, I just can't share any of the actual files anymore. Happy to help with any questions though!

Always 3 markers, never more, no matter what. If you get hit with another poison attack while already poisoned, it doesn't renew the poison, you just ride out the original 3 markers, or however many you have left.

Your example is 100% correct. You take the markers immediately upon being poisoned but it only begins damaging you on your first turn out of that battle, and will continue for the next 3 turns whether you start a new battle or not.

And going to the topic. To clarify everything in one blow:
So you only get three markers regardless of the number of attacks you take?
If you take attacks on two different turns, don't they add more?

I'll ask for this example (yeh, an ultra-specific case), I hope it will clarify everything:

Let's supose I fight a monster that has ATQ 2 and poison.

-I roll my combat dices and get 3 scythes, so I put 3 pison markers and lose 6hp.

-In the next turn, I get one scythe, so I put no aditional markers, but lose 2hp. Poison has no consequences yet.

-In the third turn I kill the monster. In this turn poison has no effect, as the status effects begin on the next turn after the battle ends.

-Then at the end of my next turn, I'm going to take 3 damage and lose a marker. And the next two will be the same, even if I start a new battle.


Does it work like this?

Poison: You take 3 poison markers, and at the end of each of your next 3 turns, take 3 damage and lose one marker. So 9 damage total over 3 turns, but poison will never kill you, if you get down to 1 HP it wears off immediately.

Does anyone know how poison works exactly? Reading the manual it looks like poison inflicts you 3 points of damage per marker (so that's 9 of damage after 3 turns). Also, it does not say clear how many markers do you recieve. Are 3 per hit? Per battle? Per battle dice roll?
I feel the manual is not much clear about it. But at least, we can hace a consensus.
What do you do with it?

They still have their propers colors, you could try messing with the lightning settings on your table and find one that fits. This has the same files as the originals, except that it includes a copy of the newest rulesbook in a custom pdf instead of on a tablet.

Hmm, so how do i get rid of these shadows? everywhere i look at a piece from its all black. When i originally tried the game back when it was originally up by Simon and the character sprites had their proper colors.

It's a lighting thing. Try looking at the pieces from an angle that isn't some kind of top down, and you'll see that all the black is just the shadows of the pieces.

I'm not an expert when it comes to TTS (hell I have less than 100 hours on it.) but from what I could find it's a Unity bug, not something in the game mode files. A possible solution could be:
- In the game configuration disable Mod caching and reload the mod again. It worked for us.
Other one would be reinstalling TTS, because otherwise I don't know what to do, because the mod files are all working perfectly

It is a general problem for me now, but i still couldn't figure it out how to fix it. In game, I keep having "Failed to create token from image" error. I first noticed it on Difficulty Sheets but the whole game is like that. I tried to download the game from TTS Mod Backup, it didn't work. My friend whose game works perfectly sent me an backup of his play, it doesn't work. I re-installed the game, it doesn't work again. Like, I even tried downloaded all images and replaced them but it still doesn't work. Where am I doing wrong? Please, help me out.

Honestly I never really loved that rule, but never bothered taking it out. We always houserule that the "burning" part is kind of unnecessary, so if someone has a fire ability, great, they can start the Dracula fight, but if not, just proceed.

I guess you end the game there, because if there is no way to burn the items, you can't break the curse and fight Dracula, so you would just pass until the clock hit midnight.

And the item cards that deal fire damage are the ones that have a Fire icon next to the damage they deal. I can't list every single one of them though.

In regards to how Efrain works, directly from the creator:

"For the Aura Coin, basically you just decide which face is up at any given point. If you ever need to switch it to the other side, it's the same as changing equipment, so out of combat, you can do it freely, but during combat, it costs 2 hearts to flip it, and it just determines if you're using the top or bottom of each of his aura abilities."

Other than that, the rest should be pretty self-explanatory.
