@kaneeden Ive asked mlie about continuing a dead or abandoned mod a couple times in the past. So have others, pretty sure I was one of the first to suggest him continuing animal genetics so he definately listens to requests and then determines if it's possible or if he can. People can even do it here on steam if they want to contact him.

I can try to comment on his mods again or message him here on seam and so can others, weather he wants to bother taking this mod under his wing is another thing entirely. Most of the functioning code was in android tiers itself according to the ATR devs until they gutted it during the rewrite. They also mentioned spagetti code which always complicates things. Meaning this mod would need a full rewrite too.. and considering how many mods mlie already maintains im not sure if he will want to bother oof

Has someone already asked Mlie to make a [continued] project out of it? (or does know how to contact him?) I see alot of resurrected projects in my mod list made by him .. so maybe..?

This definately needs a update or a reforged version of it. Was too good and useful to just die off. It's too bad the android tiers reforged devs decided against intergrating or making a revamped version of this given how popular it was. Even if they aren't terminators I think we all would love the ability to give our androids skin too look more human, synthtic or organic don't matter.

Shoot, last I heard there's even a working github version of android tiers called android tiers reforged currently despite still being a wip dev version. Hopefully this one follows once AT-R fully releases after it's done since this was pretty dang cool. never played android tiers without it after a while lol

How about a TX "Upgrade" kit or something liek that, so you can upgrade regular androids to TX models?

My pawn with a 100% Android surgery success factor is repeatedly failing to install a VX2 chip in an TX3I

On androids of these series, it is impossible to install the "archotech odor sensor".

I think it's a bit strange that the TX2KI androids are described as "to be used exclusively on the battlefield" and "unable to perform advanced tasks because of its limited processor" and yet they spawn with traits and an ideology.

i can craft the TX androids, but whenever i try to give them skins in the Vats,
it end-up creating a invisible clone that can be linked to Skynet

@FG_Remastered what do you mean, newer version? It's the version that is listed as a requirement for this one. Do you mean to get a version from github and run it as local copy? Also to what end if QEE is currently not compatible? And on which side does this have to be addressed? Sorry to pester you with questions but I'm kinda hooked on my current playthrough :)

@Ploeperpengel QEE isn't compatible atm. Also, update your base Android Tiers. You have the outdated version.

Even worse when you consider there are ways to create proper race support or make the skin getting destroyed more modular to work with other mods that change skin textures. Simply put: HAR body part graphics. Have a part that is the skin itself, have the normal robot texture, and use body part graphics to put the skin over the robot body. Then use the same method currently used to swap the skin texture to the damaged variants or add a partially transparent bloodly alpha texture over the skin so skin changes based on damage.

Only downside would be other races would need a robot body but can do that with more body part graphics on the current robot body with enough effort. Robotic cat ears for cat races, robotic mouse ears for mouse race, a robot tail for races with a tail, etc.

@FG_Remastered I know that, even have xenobionic patcher in my modlist. The issue is the fact we have to use another mod to fix a bug that's been in this one for almost a year now

@ParasiticSquid The first issue can easily be solved by using "Xenobionic Patcher", while the second one is indeed an issue worth fixing.

@FG_Remastered It does need an update at the very least. Just like android tiers there's some issues that have been present in this for quite some time now that never got fixed too this day. Case and point: You still can't install a artificial brain into them to convert a tx surrogate into a blank android to download into like you can with the base android tiers versions. An odd bug present from first the release.. Another issue is what MadHaTr mentioned - patches between this and other mods are often outdated on this end. QEE compat in general is a mess currently which is ironic since the whole gimmick here was growing a tx series skin in the cloning vat lol

Are there any patches for QEE I created a TX4 and tossed it into the clone vat to grow it's skin but when it was done a new invisible clone vat person appeared (hair is only visible) and had 0 skills like a clone but also had buttons for the androids and a battery reading, also the TX4 frame was left behind. Later on through a botched surgery I could see the damaged skin and exoskeleton on the face, so the default skin (Which I was unable to choose on the clone vat) seems to be invisible.
