Kasgigz 27 AGO 2021 a las 10:48
@PoofyGummy the original mod is dead and is incompatible with 1.3, so is this one
PoofyGummy 1 AGO 2021 a las 13:07

Just tested this, it is mandatory. You may just edit the about xml to 1.2 and the folder from 1.1 to 1.2 thats it
okin 11 ABR 2021 a las 19:39
this works with 1.2

Without this installed i don't get any button inside the Prepare Carefully menu, only before. Why is this labeled as obsolete when it's still clearly needed?
Kolljak 17 DIC 2020 a las 9:02
@sekh i am also experiencing this. second for the fix.
Dioptrick 8 OCT 2020 a las 0:39
The face change button doesn't work, nothing happens when you click it, does anyone know how to fix it?

Wanted to add in to the people that had problems with the error "Requires invalid.package.id". This is related to using the Mod Manager plugin as TJ alluded to previously. It has to do with how the mod manager parses "Dependencies" to other mods and something goes wrong here.

A "dirty" fix is to open the mod folder for Facial Stuff PrepC Patch. Find the "About" folder, then open the "Manifest.xml" file in you favorite text editor. Find the section named "<dependencies>stuff here</dependencies>" and delete that entire section.
Of course you still have to make sure that the load order is correct and that both Prep Carefully and Facial Stuff are loaded, but at least it stops the Mod Manager from complaining about this issue.

Personally I found that I could do the facial customization of each pawn before pressing the "Prepare carefully" button, and thus I opted to actually remove this mod as I do not need the functionality that it provides.

Great mod, +1 for 1.2 update questions :) Would be great to get it!
Montu 13 AGO 2020 a las 6:02
Hi! Are you planning on updating this mod to 1.2? Thank you!
Manlor 21 ABR 2020 a las 20:49
Not a Rimworld modder but is is possible the package.id error is because Facial Stuff is now Called "Facial Stuff 1.1" while this mod is looking for just "Facial Stuff" ?
Jessi 19 ABR 2020 a las 16:44
For the invalid package ID, that might not be this mod at fault. Vanilla Factions Expanded - Medieval actually has a Known Issue regarding it:

"If you're receiving Invalid package.id when using Mod Manager, please note that this is a random issue and a massive lie at the same time - this issue doesn't appear when NOT using the mod manager at all. The mod works fine."
Bovos 5 ABR 2020 a las 15:55
For me it said required invalid.id.package something like that.

Just wanted to drop a note and say this is the only thing that lets me see the face in prepc (next to backstory), tried a few combinations rolling back prepc to 1.1.8, 1.1.7, 1.1.6 and none of them worked for me without this patch and the latest version of facial stuff.
Kyrox 27 MAR 2020 a las 10:21
If you ever need any help with anything I'm more than willing. This is part of my main mod loadout and I appreciate you maintaining this.
Killface  [autor] 27 MAR 2020 a las 10:10
@Kyrox: keeping it compatible is not as easy as it sounds. I have to track PrepCs changes and see how they affect FS. That means not only adding a button but also taking care of proper saving and loading. I've spent whole day a month ago to make it work again, just to see PrepC being updated and the editor button broken again. I'm currently more focused on fixing the bugs of the main mod, will update this one when I have some spare time.
Kyrox 25 MAR 2020 a las 16:45
Can confirm. Facial Stuff author is referring people to here and dropping support:

@Kyrox It should work either way. When I'm testing, I usually put "Facial Stuff" before Prepare Carefully. "Facial Stuff PrepC Patch" must be after Prepare Carefully.

So according to the mod author for Facial Stuff, it's up to this mod to continue to remain compatible.

I wasn't aware of anyy updates. If the button already appears, please do not subscribe or use this mod.
RevReese 22 MAR 2020 a las 16:14
Facial Stuff just updated and there are instructions to subscribe to this mod as well due to unresolved bugs. Do i need to do this even though it appears to work without this patch?
RevReese 21 MAR 2020 a las 17:55
This seems to be unnecessary now as i can edit my pawns appearance from the prepare carefully mod screen without the patch enabled so not sure which one updated?
FloralBbomi 12 MAR 2020 a las 22:48
thank you!!
Thetaprime 12 MAR 2020 a las 11:29
Yes, same here. May need an update.
Redstark Magnusson 12 MAR 2020 a las 10:20
Can confirm that the button disappeared as of the EdB Prep-Carefully update earlier today. Crikey.
SonoFelice 12 MAR 2020 a las 7:40
Does this work in 1.0? If not, is there a 1.0 version I can download?
mihaels_godlike 12 MAR 2020 a las 1:29

EverNaughty 3 MAR 2020 a las 5:44
Hi, where is supposed to be the button ? I don't see any difference. I load EDB and facial stuff, and after this patch as required, but nothing ?
෴ ENTRECEIJO ෴ 2 MAR 2020 a las 14:54
works in 1.1?
Killface  [autor] 2 MAR 2020 a las 9:30
Use the bedroom Dresser ;c)
Rannie 2 MAR 2020 a las 3:33
Thank you. but how can I edit my character's face in game playing?
Solzucht 29 FEB 2020 a las 11:25
ah :) nice to provide the patch then :D
Killface  [autor] 29 FEB 2020 a las 11:16
It did up till RW 1.1. In case someone isn't using PrepC, the debug menu stopped working.
Solzucht 29 FEB 2020 a las 10:22
didnt that work without a patch before? just wondering :v
