I can recommend this mod, because it has features that should have been included in the game, but under absolutely no circumstances should you attempt to communicate with the author of this mod, because he is an utterly toxic person with absolutely no social skills, as evidenced by his responses to harmless questions asked by users on here, Nexus Mods, and elsewhere. I don't know why he chooses to be that way, but if you have any issues with this mod, ask literally anyone else on Earth for support, because all he is going to do is condescend you and call you stupid. It's a decent mod, but it's nowhere near good enough to put up with his extremely poor attitude.

I have a quest to perform for the Jarl of Riften, but she has no dialogue option. I can perform for other Jarls, but not her specifically.

Any solutions or cheats I can enter to complete it?

There are two songs that are related to the civil war that's going on in the game. I don't remember what they are. It's been a long time. If you play one of those songs in front of an NPC from the opposite faction, they will assume you are their enemy.

Can this be updated on bethesda.net mods so that it can be installed through the in-game mod installing interace? This is now lagging heavily behind Nexus.

The concept is cool, but I can't stand the bards with their propaganda on repeat, Mikael is probably the worst of them all and.
Unfortunaly there isn't a WS mod that lets you tell bards to shut the fuck up..

So is this still working for standard Skyrim + Addons?

This is my favourite Skyrim mod of all time.

Even if you never plan on playing a bard, the number of new songs played by NPC bards makes this mod worth it.

Great Mod, works perfectly. I would have loved the immersion integration of having it tied into having to do the quest to join the college and become a bard before allowing the skill (but i did that myself by waiting with my character, so no biggy). Nice work, thank you!

The nexus apparently has been updated to the last workshop version! It’s even got a download with manager option so there’s no need to try use both WS and your mod manager

can you please update the nexus version? using steam workshop for skyrim mods is fucked up if using a mod manager, which EVERYONE should do anyway.

This mod is excellent! Everything works for me and I find Malukah's songs and her voice to be absolutely perfect.

I was having the same problem as ZoSar84. I got the ID by typing "help custom". The ID for the Custom Songbook is 0B012852.

This Mod used to work for me but it doesn't any longer. I don't know what I did to break this. I even went for a totally new install of game but that didn't do the trick either. Could somebody who has this Mod working post his or her Mod load order. Note I play LE version of Skyrim. Mod used to work but for reason I cant work out it doesn't any longer.

It doesnt work for me? i dont see the spell and it doesnt show up in mcm either. And when i try installing it via Nexus Mods Manager the game crashes instantly

Mittlerweile bräuchte ich glaube ich doch etwas Hilfe. Nach etlicher Zeit des nicht spielens von Skyrim hab ich es endlich mal wieder rausgekramt. Neuinstallation, keinerlei altdateien vorhanden. Ende vom Lied ist das einige Songs ganz normal abgespielt werden, die meisten jedoch geben keinen Ton aus. Nachdem ich alles auf .wav Dateien konvertiert hatte gab es ebenfalls keine Besserung. Mein Charakter zückt auch seine Laute und klimmpert darauf herum, aber es gibt keinen Ton. Ich hoffe mir kann jemand helfen.

beautiful mod. i did also happen to found a simple exploit where you perform get your gold and then walk out and back in and you can perform again. game breaking with the perk bonuses

Onyxdragonlady console commands. Type: help "bard" 0 after that use the page up button to find the journal and then type: player.additem <insert long number beside bard's journal> 1

This mod freakin rules! Thank you, I was annoyed that I couldn't play my instruments or sing when I joined the useless bard college. The music is awesome. Love the different versions of the original Skyrim tunes, plus the other great stuff. How blessed art the modders; they maketh thy games to not suck. They removeth thy annoyance, they delighteth thy soul. They impoveth thy gaming experience a thousandfold. For yea, devs hath NO idea wtf fun is, as they obviously don't playeth their own games. Good mod but would be better if you could see what songs you are going to play when you open the song book. Would also be good if you could cancel the song if you changed your mind.
