Why not both? I take it you have never seen the David Lynch movie fan edit. It's brilliant.
The David Lynch movie gave us a lot of visuals that served as inspiration for the Dune RTS games that followed which were just legendary.

Have you considered support for Dubs Bad Hygiene mod? Such as providing one water bottle per day to suite wearers if Dub's drinking requirements option is turned on? It also has a Survival option that limits the water table for wells.

Leto I wore one when they went out to tour spice mining after they arrived on Arrakis. Kynes makes sure their suits are worn properly and comments that Paul somehow knew how to wear one correctly.

@Not KaiserKicker McSleuthburger I'm not entirely sure, there are certain "RoyalTiers" for certain apparel, I added the "Royal" tag which should be a universal tag for all royals.

I don't think the change you made to the stillsuits to allow nobles to wear them is working. It isn't showing up in the Required Apparel list and my nobles are getting the mood debuff from the wanting noble level attire while wearing a stillsuit.

Muad'Dib wore a stillsuit, as did Alia, the second Atreides emperor, and Ghani, but that was my point entirely: to avoid too many spoilers, they were Fremen and not nobles in the traditional Shaddam IV sense.

There's nothing that suggests Leto I ever wore one. Jessica never wore one until their escape. Obviously they'd wear them out in the desert, but to make all stillsuits as acceptable noble clothing -- rather than making a noble-specific variant -- misses the mark on what noble clothing is intended for. In universe, stillsuits are the grimy, grisly stuff those unwashed desert nomads wear and not the stuff of high society! I thumb my nose at you, sir!

Post-Muad'Dib, it makes perfect sense to have high-fashion well-tailored stillsuits as noble garb. But they wouldn't be your garden variety affordable stillsuits, nosiree. ;-)

yeah in a desert where the very water from your body is a commodity even nobles should wear stillsuits the same way they would wear a lifevest in a boat

@Zealot - Updated so Nobles can wear them now.

@jtgibson - I believe he means the new tag the new DLC gives. Such as "worker" "soldier" - I believe there is a new tag as "noble" so if you were in a desert biome, nobles wouldn't want to wear these clothes due to the non-noble tag.

@Zealot Were stillsuits ever considered noble clothing in the Dune-iverse? Pre-Mua'dib, the Fremen were all hostile and negative about how decadently the Harkonnens and even the Atreides wasted water and wore normal clothes rather than stillsuits. In Children of Dune it was much of the same as people started wearing them less and less.

It might make sense to add a stillsuit variety that counts as noble garb, for a Fremen-style rule.

Omg this is awesome, after re-reading Dune I was craving a mod for Rimworld pertaining to dune. Can you mod a Dune scneario? that would be sick.

@Vats - Just makes you survive in hot biomes, but nothing else special really. Maybe down the road.
