For anyone that's wondering, that holding technique is called Magwell griping.
What magwell griping does is it converts the magazine well into a comfortable vertical grip for better control of the weapon. It prevents pressure on non-free-floating handguards that can affect accuracy. It keeps hands off of the magazine. It allows a tight stance for speed and maneuverability. The MWG also functions as a flared and extended magazine well to speed reloading. You can buy MGWS to put on the magazine to make it work better.
I HATE this technique. It just doesn't LOOK right TO ME at least...

The animations feel great, the gun sounds great, the models are great, I really dig how this weapon overall plays in the game. A bit annoyed at the tactical vs empty reload animation being the same, but it's still great.

@Walther Clements A lotta people does that, depends on people's personal habit and that's a SBR, it does feel better in that way.

@Walter Clements I believe its held like that to avoid shooting or burning(?) your hand while firing a gun with a shorter barrel, which is what this Rifle appears to have.

Is there a non RND version? A mod with just one version of the rifle? I'm just looking for the MK18 with the attachable barrel, the rifle barrel with the flashlight in the first two pictures.
