CPP versions of abilities are modified and since they use the same template names, conflict with the normal versions of them. So the classes may not function as intended with it.
It can also sometimes cause crashes when used alongside regular perk packs.
It takes me the whole day to realize that the new xcom launcher did not care a slightest thing about what you are configure in the mod administration. :(
That was the reason for some weired stuff like the Butterfly invasion.
If using RPGO, it would be a better idea to use the Specializations version instead of the class mod.
being always active sounds like a launcher problem. you could try deleting XComModOptions.ini and XComClassData.ini in your my documents config folder to force the game to rebuild them.
If yo have 10 or mor Butterflies around youthat thing starts to bore you. :D
Even after starting a new campaign and disable this Mod, I still get only Butterflies.
The workarround was to delete this Mod from disc, ignore the game loading message and use the admin console to un-butterfly my Soldiers. But that leads to totally incompatibility for bonds.
So may you fix the default Butterfly thing for inactive/unloaded mod and fix also that random promotes leads to become an Butterfly only?
That would make this great mod even greater.

found and fixed the problem. thanks for letting me know.
It might partialy work, but likely still has problems I've already patched. I can't do anything about any bugs that come up from it, so use at your own risk.
Unfortunatly because CPP essentialy includes a copy of a portion of MPP, the two aren't going to play well together. Might be able to use the mods CPP is based on, but would mean missing out on the localization changes/etc Cato did.
Why not? It's even a kind of knife.
