I was told some people have this issue because of the January update I believe. But I reuploaded this with crowbar so I still don't understand why this issue still happens. So sadly this is a steam issue not the mod it self. I am very sorry.

hmmmm odd doesnt show in game or in the player model selector, even when its enabled... still doesnt show...

1: I don't import anything, I would have to find those models. I find models at random over the internet.

Sadly the guy who's doing my requests seems to be very busy with other things and I don't see it getting faceposing anytime soon or possibly at all. I did ask him about it and he said it's something he's really never did and he'd have to try it out. All I can say is hope for the best, but prepare for the worse. :(

I'm still waiting for the model to be updated to have faceposing flexes...just take your time...

Well like all my other requests, I just happened to find this model online. Unless I find more KOFAS models I like than no. I do however have other Capcom, SNK, and a few other genera characters planned for requests. I am mainly requesting characters that are nonexistent on the worshop.

Update: Someone said it's an outdated client or uploader problem. The specific details I'm not too sure about...

I got the wrong account, it was DEMONYKO, not Lasher, but I can confirm it's tied to the uploader's Steam account. This does NOT bode well...

Correction: Lasher's account (for Skyrim mods) isn't doing this? I'll have to investigate further...

Did some testing and found a pattern: whether or not a file downloads in binary form is dependent on the particular Steam account that uploads it. In other words, it appears the only fix is to use a different account...

No idea how to fix it, sorry. But if a pattern can be found it might help.

Haven't tried using the alternative yet but I successfully downloaded it, so it should work.

So is there anyway to fix it, or am I stuck with this mod being faulty. Also is my alternative allowing you to use the mod at least?

What seems to be going on is, for some reason, some addons are downloaded as (numbers)_legacy.bin files instead of gma files, and Gmod doesn't allow this to be done for newer files for whatever reason. The legacy bin file isn't exclusive to Gmod, either, Google searches show it happening for a number of Paradox games, and of other games I have installed it's also happening in Skyrim, and app ID 241100, whatever that is...

So that's what's screwing up my mod and apparently others? So it's steams fault then?

Okay everyone, I came up with an alternative way to use this mod. It's a bit tedious, but it should get the mod in your game. Just look in the description and follow the steps. This is only for people who can't use the mod if subscribing to the mod doesn't work.

@wiimeiser You must've downloaded the addon from the Workshop itself, try downloading it through different workshop downloaders.

@TankGuy02 Can you read the comment? It says "Download the addon through a Steam Workshop Downloader."

The filename I'm getting is "780747441471490191_legacy.bin", not sure what that means...

@qvoliszz You'll have to extract the .gma file using a extractor like GWTool, you'll need to have 7Zip for proper extractions.

@wiimeiser I hope you already downloaded the file to know the name of it. :/

After I downloaded it how to proceed? Simply copying it to the addons folder will not help.

Yeah, same. It wont even appear in my game. Why??? Its such a good model :c

It didn't even appear in the ingame addons list for me (which also shows the game actually populates the list by counting gma files and checking if the file ID is valid)

Can you at least use it? I may have paid for this for myself and I could honesty just use it for myself, but I rather share it with people. Kinda breaks the point if everyone can't use it. I plan on sharing my other requests as well.

For me it was appearing as a bin file in the Workshop data, no idea why...
