I'm not sure wether global warming, health, or reforestation is the better mod. They're all so good.

@Aleph Zero Hurricanes are very rare, and require an extremely high GWI (overall warming index).
Aleph Zero 7. dec. 2013 kl. 15:11
Great mods! I'm goin to try see the hurricane how is it going to be.... I guess you miss the vulcanoes eruptions in older civ games... I find this mods you have added are part of the best lost feature from the past, ty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In BTS there were vulcanos and tsunamis also, that could wipe out cities, but in all civ games vulcanos dint provide pozzolana, the malta of the antique romans, nor richer soils.... oh, there is krakatoa actually as graphic for one also.... I shoud try out sdk one of these days... ty again!!

Try a stealth mod that allows infantry units to conceal themselves in rough terrain so that they're invisible until an enemy comes right up next to them.

BTW, the Eras mod series is made by BlouBlou, just to make them easier to find.
thedUWUmslayer 4. dec. 2013 kl. 11:36
@rsjabba I'd recommend the Eras mod series for something like that. They stop the game at every level from classical to atomic, and they rearange the tech tree to include everything, such as crossing open ocean, research agreements, espionage, and gold and beaker production in cities. They're very good mods, and you don't need a mod like that when you use them :) They also all add a repeating tech at the end of the era that functions like future tech.

* MAC Users See this CivFanatics forum thread [forums.civfanatics.com] for help on enabling mods.
sgkur04 3. dec. 2013 kl. 3:42
how do I install these on osx? I've moved "Health & Plague" to the mods folder as I do with all mods I install, but it doesn't appear in the mods menu.
User 5318008 2. dec. 2013 kl. 13:27
mod request: idle production (produce nothing) for cities. useful for when playing an "end at era" mod that doesnt allow discovery of currency or education.
If someone could make this then you wouldnt have to constantly create something only to delete it straight away...

@Wuptrooper The best way to learn about modding is to dissect others' mods. All you need is the SDK, a free download. Also, consult civfanatics.com forums for threads related to your modding efforts. I doubt you will be able to convince others to make your mods for you, but the best way to get the mods you want is to make them yourself.
Verwarde man 1. dec. 2013 kl. 3:46
I really like this, I wanted to do such little mods myself (ive got alot of good ideas), but I dont have the technical know-how. Perhaps I can give you some of my ideas or you can teach me how to mod? :SocialPolicy:
Oscar 30. nov. 2013 kl. 13:00
