Can you make there a chance for this to happen instead of it a garrented thing. I like the idea of this being a rare threat but not a steady thing thats going to happen every set amount of time.

The timer options are glitched. The damn setting keeps resetting back to 7.5. It is not immediate, but it happens. At this point i've placed it to 19 seconds many, MANY times, but somehow every now and then I keep finding it back to 7.5.

at this point im convinced the setting resets to troll peopple.

@Eto Hige yeah i'm going to have to turn it off it drops on my base directly 80% of time.

The most brutal get rekt mod ever lol. Little weird tho that it always drops on my base even on a huge map. Love the explosion animation and makes me completely fear this mod esp when 3 drop

Also comets that leave behind rock chunks/ice/snow and maybe some random minerals would be cool.

Is this safe to add mid-game? Dunno how something already in progress would react to the delay start timer option...

If not necessarily adding a literal meteor shield per se, at least maybe add support for RimAtomics missile shield weapons to shoot down the meteor. Or something like that.

Sweet idea, but up to twice a year sounds like the novelty would wear off super fast.

Update: In the options you can adjust the delay time before the Meteor drops.

I love the utter destruction from this, but I've noticed that sometimes the meteors leave... presents... not sure if it's a mod conflict but I've had the last meteor leave behind things like lights and solar panels that I can then use or reinstall in a better location.

Nice mod! I definitely don't like the frequent occurrence though, could be dropped down to the same chance as a volcanic winter and nothing would be lost, I feel.

seems interesting, but only 7 seconds warning is not enough.
it's just, "oh, one person is a bit outside. looks like he is dead now"

will wait for patch / options. maybe give us an option to make our own warning time?

@yayo - If possible can you make the meteor have a 15-30 second delay after the warning, and have an armor penetration value of 100? (Slightly lower damage value than now to offset the penetration)

Would be interesting to use this with some kind of orbital mass driver weapon to destroy raider bases :)

How do you prepare for this? According to the picture, it seems like stone walls blocked them, and probably high heat protection works as well. I am assuming anything good against explosive can deal with it. Funny mod xD It's feels like almost certain dead to a pawn if it happens in year 1 on top of any pawns though, but seems ok for buildings.

7-10 seconds before you lose what took hours to build, surely there should be more time right?

If there was an oncoming plane about to crash you'd have more than 10 seconds heads up. What more a flaming giant rock silhouette in the sky?
