Would there be anyway for players to make their own loadouts? idk i can see like..a explosion loadout, or toxic sludge loadout..also is Mutant meant to not teleport you orr.. cause as it stands its just a free collection of perks

when you start a run all your items are equipped until you equip them manually then go back to your wand, doesnt really matter since its so easy to get around but its annoying

@The Jar holy crap, starting with the ability to dig is so OP. I'm surprised you don't realize this. I'd gladly take miner class every time. That means getting to many items that you wouldn't be able to get otherwise on the first map. That means being super rich after you complete the 2nd map. Not to mention all the extra hearts you will find from being able to dig on the first couple maps. Naturally for this very OP early ability there should be a cost, like no initial damaging wand. Yeah you might have to avoid things at first, but the ability to dig your own path doesn't make that a problem, and then as soon as you find your first wand or grab a tablet, you're fine.

why in the hell is miner even a thing?
like sure he gets the ability to dig immediately but he cant do ♥♥♥♥, he cant fight obviously and his flask more of a joke. give him some decent perks to all least make it a more interesting playstyle that makes you snowball into something powerful. things like item radar and/or wand radar

Cryomancer : class a little low due to the fact that the base ice power is not very interesting

Whirligig : the class does not bring great choice

Gambler : doesn't bring big chosen, can be given a weapon that is totally random tight funny?
Mutant : I think the weapon would be a tentacle, squeezed more interesting
Miner : The miner is really bad, because of the fact that it can hardly dig, it would take a more powerful drill, but in exchange a penalty, to make it both interesting and balanced
Doomslayer : this class is way too far farted, it would be better to give smaller explosion, or make any attack in the class go explosive, and not give it the nuceal bomb which is way too powerful.

Also, I think some teleportation, speed, invisibility or other classes were added.

After selecting the class, the potion (At least on the Cryomancer) disappears after a short time.

Look, i know it's been a while, so this isn't necessarily for the mod dev if they aren't worried about working on this anymore, but I think it'd be dope to see this mod polished and fixed, and fitted with the ability to save a custom loadout as a class. If in there was an ingame option, it would be as easy as picking some items up from spell labs stuff and clicking save as

It may have something to do with obtaining multiple items at the same time, but whenever you select a class, potions will pour as if they are equipped, and any wands beyond the first one spin as if they have been dropped on the ground. Switching to and away from wands/potions stops the behavior for that item in particular.

for some reason when i try to pick up a class other than classic noita it turns into a wand with no spells on it and nothing happens when i pick that up, although classic noita works fine.

To stop the potions from pouring when you shoot your wand, you just have to swap to them when ingame. Swapping to your potion then back to the wand will register them properly.

Found a bug. I installed this mod and, while testing the classes, I started taking damage weirdly. I picked a new class and that's when I noticed that shooting my wand was also causing me to pour whatever potion(s) I had, even going as far as to pour BOTH when a class gave me two. I disabled this mod and the problem immediately stopped.

I appear to be having an issue with this mod and goki things. when both are loaded, when I pick a class from this mod, it turns into a wand with no spells, and doesn't teleport me to spawn, if I pick a class from goki, I get sent to spawn with no inventory. Please help, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both mods and noita, but to no avail.

Absolutely love this mod, it's basically essential for playing the game now and makes dying a bit less frustrating since you can always get something interesting to play with right off the bat.

Would really love a class themed around the psychic kick or toxic waste in the future if you had any thoughts about adding to this mod, there's a ton of untapped potential this mod could add I'd love to see through to fruition!

Couldn't go back to playing without this now.

Thoughts on electricity class: instead of 'always cast' electricity spell, an electricity based regular spell on the starting wand would be better. Because you always ditch the starting wand fairly soon into the game, so the bonus isn't worth as much as the pyro's, for example. If it was a electricity spell you could edit wands with and keep, that work better.

Psychic class with tele kick does sound cool.

Excellent mod , really enjoying the game so much more as a pyromancer.

One class I thought could be changed was the doomslayer. I don't think it is possible to fire the nuke without dying / ending the game so not much point. If the nuke is launched down a deep tunnel or something, hopefully you could survive the blast, making it an interesting gameplay mechanic (melting the dungeon).

This should be a core feature of the game. Nothing but tedium prevents me from startscumming 200k legit games of Noita to get my preferred start.

When you spawn after selecting a class it seems like you have both your wand and your potion selected, so pressing left click uses both the wand and the potion at the same time. Switching active wand/potion at least once fixes it.

@King_Womgoose: It might be a new mod incompatibility. For example if any mod you have moves the location of the big tree it might now be broken with SC. Try disabling everything but SC and see if it works, just as a test

I'm not sure if its the way i have the mod order or its the mod but i'm still spawning in the middle of a big tree, the author said that the mod has been updated but i'm still having this problem. Any thoughts?

I agree. It might also be possible to contact the author of the shovel mod and request permission to use it for the miner class.
Also, thanks for updating so quickly! I didn't have high hopes since there had been no updates since the mod was posted, so this was a pleasant surprise. :lunar2019grinningpig:

It's spawning you inside the wood of the big tree a bit below the musical wand room. If you clear away the wood you can see the backdrop of the class selection room.

Realy liking the Gambler, Its gives you a bunch of stuff you usualy want later in the run in exchange for making the start ALOT herder than usual, wich actualy opens up dying in the first biome again xD

I've also had issues with the left mouse key always triggering my flasks. However, you can fix it 100% of the time by throwing the flask into the air and catching it

is it possible to get this working with pick a perk mod. the perks are already gone after a class is selected.
