Exactly same here, I read a lot about the Romans and how many dangers they faced, crisis, civil wars etc and 1212 depicts it so poorly with the middle east especially falling apart early.

With this the AI can keep my forces busy in the east, which automatically makes the west more dangerous to me too, as I have my resources stretched!
Nothing better than when you feel powerful but you kniow things can turn side ways quickly regardless!
