Bullet vest - ATF
Bullet vest - Press
Bullet vest - FBI (blue, gray)
Bullet vest - Police (gray variant)
If not it's fine, I can do a local copy if needed
Though at times I really wish this could apply to other armor sets in other mods. As they usually have really unappealing stats. Like 40-60% protection. Thus they never get used. Is there a way you could override like the protection clothes category that would increase all stats via sandbox option?
Without doing infinite compatibility patches. Im unsure how else it could be done.
The side effect is that all other chest armor becomes obsolete as now bulletproof vest will offer more protection than any other chest armor, while retaining its bullet protection. It unfortunately also doesn't address limb armor. Magazine limb armor still has more bite/scratch protection than bulletproof-armor.
This mod also doesn't play well with other mods that add or rework police/military armor (like VGE, KATTAJ1, RAZ, etc) for various reasons. I would have made it something like "Civilian 70/70%, Police 80/80%, and Military 90/90% to incentivize armor upgrades. For perspective, Magazine Armor is 80/90% but washes off in the rain; Bone Armor is 80/90% but way heavier/slower.
Any chance it could be one of those?
I have had an issue with Item Health, it spammed Lua Errors when I put a gun in a holster
\ArmoredVestsWORKSHOP\media\lua\client
Open the file armoredvest.lua in Notepad or Notepad++
These are the items whose stats the mod changes:
Vest_BulletArmy
Vest_BulletPolice
Vest_BulletCivilian
Boilersuit_Flying
HazmatSuit
Hat_NBCMask
Hat_SPHhelmet
Hat_GasMask
Hat_BalaclavaFace
Hat_BalaclavaFull
You can easily remove the texture yourself, if you go to :
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\YOUR ZOMBOID MOD FOLDER ID\1962761540
Then Inside the 1962761540-folder you open: mods -> ArmoredVestsWORKSHOP -> media -> textures
Just delete the entire textures folder and you will have vanilla civilian vest texture.
Does that help?
Really cool mod though, since it dose make sense to me anyways
