This mod works too well with NPCs shopping in town. They run out of space in just a few days and you will be spammed with "I have no space". You need to bum rush unlocking crafting backpacks , or get out of the city. Or live with the "city noise" I guess but it is as spammy as the Fogman's "wreeeeee"... *gurgle*

I would love and appreciate a version that is a little stronger or in other words has the npc's buy more often. I have yet to see a mod that isn't extremely tedious in shopkeeping where you get almost nothing ever (like this one) or a mod that isn't extremely strong in causing npc's to buy literally everything from you immediately upon putting something in the shop counter. I think this mod has the right idea but in my opinion it needs to be stronger or at least there needs to be a stronger version. Thank you.

Is it normal for a shop to sell a lot the first day this mod is installed and then days go by afterward without anyone buying anything??

I didn't see much of a difference between vanilla and this mod, only a slight increase.

Most I have ever seen spent is 4000 cats.

I have weapons worth 10-20k, id like to sell them as well. Even my low tier stuff never sells. I wish they would just buy 3-5k cats a days worth of stuff but i only ever see sales day one after a save import.

Also do people buy faction gear?

This mod is great, it's not OP and game breaking either... I still make most of my money by looting, but it's cool to see people buying from my shops and bar.

NPC's don't pay for some items when they buy, the crazy ones pay me a grog and take 3 and 2 bowls of vegetables because it seems to be funny to them, is it part of the mod to avoid inflation discreetly or mistake?

Yes, it is. One of the side effects is that it definitely makes food management easier.

There is currently no mechanism implemented to allow NPC inventory to disappear spontaneously without importation.

It means exactly what it says.
The patch changes the item stack settings.
Both players and NPCs are affected by it.

As to your second question, the item will remain forever.
Starving characters consume food, but other items do not disappear from their inventory.

I understand the concern, but if people want a "cheat" backpack, there are plenty of mods for that. I'm just trying to play Kenshi in a new way, by being strictly a merchant, nothing more. It's been an interesting challenge, and your mod has made it possible, so thank you so much for your work on it.

Such an idea is certainly feasible.
However, we did not want to add cheat items to the game, so we decided not to implement it.

Although it is not an infinite backpack, the following mod has already been submitted as a backpack for customers.

Regardless of the type of item, I can't create a system that forces NPCs to discard their own belongings.
There are a few exceptions, such as "put away in a box what you took from the slave," but these are all special behaviors and would be difficult to incorporate as specifications.

I've been thinking the same thing as you for years, but unfortunately that method doesn't seem to exist.
I haven't found a way to make liquor, equipment, etc. disappear from my inventory as of yet.

Is there a way to reset NPC's inventory once in 2-3 in-game days? Without importing the game over and over?
And yeah, I saw the patch but unfortunately it's not a suitable solution for me. Can you please make a script to reset NPC's inventory?

It is not impossible to have both, but it will destroy the economic balance.

As for "no places in stock", you can only import the game or do business in another town.
Weapons and armor are bulky and will inevitably cause such problems.

About "not enough gold", I think it is caused by interference with other MODs. In this mod, the consumer has unlimited money and this message should not normally appear.

If it is your gatekeeper that is displaying this message, it may be a known problem.
This problem occurs when NPC is added to the gatekeeper by another MOD.

never mind, i have removed the mod and many others where it is said to buy npc weapons and armor. weapons and armor sellers were not bought for all mods that i have tested for several real hours. npc statements "not enough gold" or "no place in the inventory". since i have tested several at the same time i can't say if these npc statements were referring to your mod or to others.

First of all, the odds of buying weapons and armor are fairly low.

If probability is not the cause, it is likely that their inventory is full of items.
In this case, it will be displayed as a character line.

If you elaborate more, I could mention other possibilities.

do you buy the guards only kingdom specific or everything? after 3 days my katanas and samurai armor set are not sold in shrek kingdom
