now sourdough bread is very interesting for it is a good alternative to regular bread though it is not as fluffy and a bit more stiff it holds more flavour and is in general perceived to be better it also tends to have thicker slices and thicker crusts but that is up to the user really, it is more widely loved than hated but it isn't for everyone but it can make for really good sandwich bread and really good for soup as well, in general sourdough bread gets a solid 7/10 from me.
