If you set them up to automatically close when meteors are incoming and then open back up after it passes they will not properly refresh their state to being 'transparent' after automation opens them back up.
What this means is that space scanners and telescopes below the doors do not function after a meteor shower.
You can get them to refresh by either manually closing and opening them, or by restarting the game. Regardless, that sort of defeats the whole point of automation.
it just seems to me that bunker doors could be also made out of more advanced materials too.
The 5 tile wide door is nice but does not actually allow the 7 wide rockets to fit through. The rocket destroys those on either side.
Is there any configuration file ?

just stretching the original door graphics to the desired width gives a wierd feeling to the danger stripes of the doors
