so ive also found out that that board version was used in an egyptian version called Aseb, and it also has a nice mod on tts

I must say. As we all presumably know, since we're here, this board was found to be from the 3rd millennium BCE. However, it underwent some major changes early on in the 2nd millennium BCE, such as the 6-square rectangle at the end straightening out, extending the bridge to be 8 squares instead of 4. Would be cool if we can get a mod, even a separate one, to have such an updated board.

just crazy to think, a game created in 2,500BCE still being played on technology unimaginable to the game's players throughout most of history. if only time travel were real
