This version of the mod should be broken by default. As of 2.6 massive code changes came to pass. It will be healed in the next release.

Ok, but can you tell me why i can't see any components except XL and PD, while trying to put something in weapon M slot on NSC's Science Cruiser? I can use weapons from WD on all ship sizes from NSC with no problems, except Science Cruiser and i wounder how can i fix it. Can it be because Science Cruiser ship size have "is_civilian" as "yes" and/or "class" as "shipclass_science_ship"?

I know SD is incopmatable with NSC, but i realy like WD and try to customize it for me a bit.

Yep. im aware. the code base changed significantly. As a result, i will be rebuilding this mod as a differnet mod. This one will be for patch 2.5

The latest update broke this mod,and most likely Species Diversity as well. Ship segments from the mod lack weapon slots in the Ship Designer,and attempting to pull up an existing ship design with such a segment (Such as from an old save) or trying to implement one of these segments in a new ship design will crash the game. While Gray is incommunicado until their compatibility project finishes,I figured I'd post this here.

I have tried repeatedly to update this mod. However, the launcher simply will not cooperate. So, i guess ill keep working on an NSC compat version of RIG. Untill thats done, i guess this page will be dead. Sorry everyone. But there will be another update to RIG when i fully compat it with NSC.

Love the idea of this mod but couldn't get it to work properly, even last in load order. Would not generate science or colony ships, or let me design my own. I suspect a conflict with Civilian Ships Weaponized but did not test it out.

for me the vanilla components are overriding the modded ones, so i cant use the tier two rotary cannons. any way to fix this?

@elder wolf Hey, you mentioned (much) earlier today/yesterday that you have a program or something that sorts load orders? Do you happen to have a link to that? I can't find one anywhere, and I am having one hell of a time figuring out how to order my mods on this game. If I missunderstood I apologize, and thank you either way.

There is not one that I know of. I've looked into making a compatibility patch myself, but it's a low priority for me at the moment.

@buttonmm It sounds like you are running Real Space System Scale. That also scales all the vanilla weapons down. It has nothing to do with this mod. To use both, someone would need to make a patch to scale all the weapons in this mod down to the same scale as the TS System Scale mod.

So, a few things. My mod doesn't touch the default weapons. All it does is move the weapons to an inaccessible position. I would ask you if you are running any combat rebalance mods. I remember that one of the realspace mods and one of the scale adjustment mods will range mod weapons.

Uh, I might have an isue with the mod regarding weopon range. I am requesting help sence I am not a modder. It seems that vanilla-ish weopons (AKA kenetic artilery and lasers) have there range nerfed to a rediculus degree. I find that on small weopon types the ship desiner tells me the range is 30. However, when I hover my curser over the weopon in the weopons slot, it claims it to be 9. The game seems to agree with the weopon slot resulting in a rediculusely short range ship. I curently have other mods on that increase system scale and decrease ship speed so every time my fleet atacks a station, I lose half my fleet before I even fire a shot, even thow I outnumber the station by several thousand fleet power. I would like to get this fixed please. Oh and sorry for the grammar and spelling errors. Thank you for your time.

ugh. Well, i know the files work. So its got to be something to do with the launcher. Plus im working on a big update for it. But the launcher wouldn't accept my attempt to update. IM going to have to roll back my game to the previous launcher just to update this thing.

New idea. You can manually move the mod order. Hover over the three bar icon on the far right of the mod when in the mod loader. Then pull it above RIGSD. Try after.

Unfortunately, it's not working. I have unsubbed and then subbed again (I found no references of your mods to delete) and the launcher keeps putting your two mods on the bottom of the mod list. There must be a conflict with at least one of my other active mods. Just to be sure, I've tried to use RIGSD + RIGWD with no other mods that affect ships, but even this didn't help.

Its to do with the launcher. Its beyond annoying that Paradox hasn't got their ♥♥♥♥ together. Unsub. Delete any references to my mod. The resub.

Hello! I'm using this mod alongside RIGSD and both of them are not working. I have Kurogane and Strega ship sets activated too (I wonder if they conflict with your mod). Your new weapons do not appear in the game, nor the Faction Bonus during empire creation.
