@Snøfnug it actually started out as a nice muddy russet color you should be able to see some of that still existing in the sides. Though I did lose some of that to shading on the top as I was highlight the sides where the dark tone is though that too might be looking darker than it actually is from the lighter vibrant colors around it. I shaded the top and underside of that portion of the shark as I don't like flat colors so those are near black. I can definitely take another look at that and see if I can lighten up that layer of the texture some or at least the darker spots of it, and pull back some of the vibrant colors to make it not look so dark. It might help with it not looking quite as flashy too that Dynamic pointed out. Thanks, you two, for the feedback gives me some ideas to improve this guy!

hmmm I'm not really feeling the black, what if a dark red or dark blue instead? maybe it could be the lighting but it looks black to me. As is it's pretty good regardless, the pattern looks spicy.

@ Dynamic, no worries, I know I went for a bit more of a flashy this time around which I know some peeps wont like, but it just a fun design and idea I had and wanted to get out. I love the feedback and will keep it in mind with my future designs. =)

A bit too flashy for my taste I like the design and idea, but I just can't bring myself to love bright skins for animals that kind of rely a bit on camo... ik it doesn't matter much on Depth but it does help gameplay-wise (azure thresher and dunkle come to mind)
