Kudos for this gem. It was similar to what I'd been using, albeit different shouts. And those shouts seem to make all the difference. I went from a 16 game winless run to 3 wins and 3 draws from the last six, so it seems to be working. Thanks for this one!

I've tried and adapted a few different tactics from the workshop but this is the one that's worked most consistently for me. Runaway league 2 champs with York and now - albeit with a different team - in the title hunt for League 1. My young York team couldn't handle L1 even with this tactic. I've found you can hold onto 2+ goal leads by flipping it to Counter, dropping wingers to Support and removing Stay Wider instruction from the Full Backs. Have used this away to good teams successfully also. I'd love to play a strong attacking 4-4-2 but this is the closest I've come consistently with a versatile striker behind the frontman, he bangs in loads!

If you ever start a new lower league game, Wes Fletcher from York is a great striker in this tactic - and others! 38 goals in our promotion year, and I've bought him with me to Charlton where he's League 1 top scorer!

Simply awesome tactics!! Started with Boston Utd and was struggling with tactics the first half of the season as nothing seemed to work. Dropped to 21th place and the board was getting very annoyed.
Downloaded this and so far 8 matches without a loss and climbing the table and nearing the top 10, best tactics ever!

My record now reads P94 W91 D2 L1 , I am shamed by the loss

This is awesome! I use it with Córdoba CF (Spanish 2nd division) and I finish winning the league (before I was always fired after 10-15 matches), then with only 2 or 3 new players and with 21 games only Real Madrid and Barcelona have more points than me. Great job!

Doesn't work at all. Tried it multiple times on multiple leagues. Never seemed to consistently work for me

Thank you for this. Earned promotion from league 1 with Brentford and currently tearing apart the championship. The AP gets ridiculous goals (7 goals in 4 games so far. Not counting preseason hattricks) and the poacher also chips in (finally my strikers contribute to the goal tally). I made some tweaks to fit my style of play but maintained player instructions (got rid of play deeper). Using 14.3.1

gonna try this with Licoln in Skrill premier, as i'm gettin my rear end kicked most of the time atm - I can't help but wonder tho, no good tactics with 2 strikers anymore :\

I have to thank you. I attempted something similar a while ago and couldn't find the missing piece. After finding your tactic, it's been my "got to" for any lower league club i use. I just started a new game (Unemployed) and took over at oxford (2nd Division), now i haven't used your tactic at all (Though it's one of my 3) and my squad aren't even at 40% mastery (After all im not long taken over them) but i switched to this tactic for my cup game against an almost full stregnth west ham (Premiership) and annhilated them 3-0!

To anyone who this isn't working for, making sure your players are reasonably competant in there roles helps, as done switching up training sometimes (i like to throw in teamwork to get the whole squad working for each other)

absolute crap. Same results as steve harvey. Standard tactics with no modifications work better than this.

started using this tactic with Mansfield, first season, i think i have won about 1 in 9 with it, anything i should know about it

used this for celtic in the champions league in the 13/14 season go to the semi finals. Ravel Morrison on loan was my only signing and amido balde became top scorer

ruflu96 - when you subscribe, then load up FM and click on "Downloads" when the main FM screen loads up. That will open up steam and you then find the option to download it from there. It will DL into your tactic folder.

5th season in game took the job of wigan in championship,but all good didn't work but will try it much lower team in next save :) in lastest patch 14.2.2 match eng has been changed has it? just curious as im seeing alot of own goals not from my team but others??
