I have taken ‘Angriff’ to COH3 now, so do not expect to be touching this again unless the people they have put in charge of it now break it again.

if possible and if your still working on the mod:
Would it be possible that you switch the Turan 1&2 bc the 1 hat a "long" 40mm and the Turan 2 the short 75 and if possible pls add the Turan 3 it was a up armored turan 1 with a bigger turret (big brain) side scirts and an 75mm gun

They do look similar in their winter camouflage, but they are definitely different mods, with different unit counters, skins & abilities. Maybe the switch didn’t stick on your side? Restart & have another crack. The At/Art emplacement is very powerful for the Hungarians.

Thanks chief. There are a whole series of these ‘Angriff’ mods that are all slightly different. The Finland one is my favourite.

I've been regularly playing the COH series of games since 2006, mainly for comp stomping and racked up thousands of hours doing so. Stating my command proficiency would be to stroke my own ego and would not be relevant to this comment, but using this mod has given me an edge to be able to experience 4v4 maps with the AI all set to expert.

so no matter what i do the mod doesnt show up in the options when i do a custom game. i already tried to switch the language from german to english and also switched to the 64bit version of coh2 but still nothing.

playing the ss mod and luftwaffe mod with friends always works when first starting. As game progresses it lags very bad and makes our games freeze. we like the mods alot and have already tried adjusting the setting but it doesnt help

I have a few variations on the theme… the Finnish one is my favourite, with the SS one a close second. See Adlers workshop above, I have about 30 COH2 mods, skins & maps.

I dont think so. But I have never been able to test it. I would like to know how you get on. It may just let you play with the 'races' you own. In 8 years of Luftwaffe Angriff no one has said anything.

Mod is definitely not broken. Run the 64bit beta of COH2, it is rock solid & fixes all the old issues.

Hi, I am planning to reinstall COH2 and replay singleplayer campaigns. Should I try this mod, or is it broken? Should I ever bother with COH2 at all?

By far my favorite mod for CoH2, it's regrettable that I got into it too late to feel it at it's finest with the updates in recent months having shot pve to shreds.

I get this too hence stopping modding this game... the patches have made the crashes much much worse over the last 2 years. I have over 5000 hours on this game & now haven’t played it for months. You can’t even roll it back unfortunately to previous patches. It is just about competitive online play now. Comp-stomp is dead & broken.

Not sure if your still supporting this mod but I do enjoy it thanks, I just wish it was more reliable maybe 1 in 5 games complete I unequipped the decals and I'm using your skins but still it crashes my pc is very capable i7 @ 4.2 gtx 1080 16gb system of memery ssd's and running @ 1920x1080 min frames are 70 do you have any updates coming or any tips?

This game, mods & maps are effectively ruined by the latest patch of April 2020. I completely screws the AI, turning it into an actionless camper. I would encourage my subscribers to go vote on a poll I put up to get this latest patch reversed.

Yes... as per the top of the page... "Fight the enemies of the Reich with the Hungarian Army or as the famed SS Totenkopf Panzer Division. (SS Replaces OKW, Hungary replaces OstHeer)"

so Hungarians is ostheer only?

OKW is Tokentenkopf SS, you need to play OstHeer to play the Hungarians. The things you have described below are by design.

Savaran - As mentioned above... some players need to lower their graphics settings. There is no sense to the games issues... & no one has found a cure or cause. Most computers give no issue... but some can’t play it. I have experienced similar... as mentioned... on my 7 year old lap top it works fine... my Uber desktop crashes sometimes. (No problem with your English)

Very good mod, but mutch more system requriment than stock game, for example: i start the 1vs 1 skirmish battle, plus 30 minutes and the fps are 20, what??????(sorry of my terrible english)

@ADLER Hello, some more name types. The Hungarian border guards can be called Honvéd because they were named for them. Pioneer of the Utász. the Hungarian field officer to Százados.If I have more ideas then I'll write.

@ADLER I will be happy to help as this is an important mod for me. This is the only mod I have found that brings the Hungarians into the game so I want to make it more realistic and the names help a lot.

I have added back in vanilla pop cap for vehicles. No crashes on big maps with all factions in on high graphics. Hopefully this cures everyones woes.

Read the note above for crashes,,, it really seems to be for just some machines, & after 5 years of exhaustive testing with my Luftwaffe Angriff Mod, I have given up & am pretty sure it is a memory overflow error in the base game itself. I say this as people get the same error without this mod, & even got it in COH1. I think my mods exacerbate it a bit... as it puts a lot more on the field at once. I play small to medium maps, with myself & 2 expert AI & I very rarely have a crash. Hope that helps & glad you enjoy it. The stats I have tried to keep as vanilla as possible to aim for ballance. But I put some OP things in there for fun also... I love a good comp-stomp.

Just like Mythophage, I love and hate the mod. As a Hungarian I really appreciate the work that you have done. I like the skins, and the units, the unit rosters, everything! Some units in my opinion are stronger than the real ones in the ww2 Hungarian army, but it's ok. :) I hate because the crashes. But I still using it, and I will continue to use it, because it's better than the game itself! Keep the good work! If you can please make Japanase and Italians too. :) ;)

Sorry to hear of your trouble. The game has been buggy for a long time... but I do hate to think you cant finish a game. I have about 10% crashes on my uber desktop, & 15 on my 5 year old laptop... it makes no sense!
