I personally don't really like the Building Themes mod all that much since it doesn't really handle "this style doesn't have buildings for this particular type of zoning" well, compared to vanilla's Styles.
It's rather easy to fix by hand tbf, but I just am one of those weirdos who wants to keep the gameplay as vanilla as possible :P
But these are too nice to simply ignore!

@Grizzly: No, the regular versions without the fancy decorations will show up. I wanted to include a Style as well, but because I packaged the houses together (all 4 variations of house 1 in one Steam item), Styles don't work sadly. So Building Themes is the only option to control where they spawn.

If I use these without the Building Themes mod, will they show up when I use the vanilla "European Suburbia" district theme?

Avanya, thnx for quick reply, been in extensive depth-researching of why, that over night, finally got it to work (saving in new names. hope bloodypengiun is making an update on the mod. and reads my post.

I usually do it in proper order by exit to desktop and sub/unsub from workshop while offline/not ingame. only times is when I have to go thru the content manager. but exiting afterwards.

By the way, your EU suburban house fits well in my realistic project build of Gothenburg.

@ZmulizForever: Surface Painter gets messed up if you do a 2nd load without restarting the game or (un)subscribe to things while the game is running. Not sure if either applies to your situation, but that's what popped into mind. :)

ty, fixed, think something went wrong with last verification. now onto the next issue "why surface painter" isn´t doing its job on exporting to saved files. /cheers.

@ZmulizForever: Carport 1, Carport 2. Dormer 1, Dormer 2 and Shed 1 are all props in the DLC. Try verifying files through Steam.

Not sure what Chain link fence 8m is, but it sounds like a workshop asset. It isn't used in these houses though.

Vanished after verification: Carport 1, Carport 2. Dormer 1, Dormer 2, Shed 1, Chain link fence 8m. no link specified in loadingmod report. files req. for EU LD 03C Decorated, EU LD 02C Decorated, and the list goes on.

I added a Building Theme since it turned out that Styles don't play well with packages of buildings like this. Oh well, the mod is much better than the Styles anyways. :P

@TehFocus: They will need to be added to the theme or to a new theme. I will set up a style for them, which should work with Building Themes as well.

Does this work out of the box with the creator pack or do you have to manually add them to the theme?

Hi, @Avanya Perfect! Especially I love things when they are decorated as I am not a great detailer and will focus more on managing traffic and setting up the network stuff.

@sebesams: Sounds like my laziness is benefitting others. :P

@Klopfer: You should be able to with the Loading Screen Mod's skip option (might just be the Test version of the mod that has the skip option). You will need to leave the props though as they are used in the pack, which means all you really get is the original ones disappear from the menus. Might still be handy I guess. But luckily the mod already shares the models and textures, so you don't actually load everything double. :)

@LemonsterOG: No, the game considers them different. The Loading Screen mod just has this smart feature where it sees that the models and the textures are the same, so instead of loading the same twice, it just references the first load. It happens automatically and saves you RAM, so you can have more new stuff. And have different versions of the same buildings like this without wasting resources. :)

@Avanya Oh...so I'm using Building Themes mod. I added your new buildings to the existing European Suburbs theme. Are you saying your buildings are the same ones already in that theme? Does that mean I can unselect the original ones in the theme?

@skallben: No, not a lot. The building textures and models will all be shared thanks to the Loading Screen Mod, so it's just the props and trees you might not already have, which will be added to the load.
