You know, this was gonna be my favorite, most needed character in the whole workshop. Then you brought back terrible, terrible memories with that secret taunt... 10/10

For real though, it works so well. He feels like he belongs in this game. Definitely my favorite character.

Holy crap. This is amazing. I play the rhythm heaven games so I know all the timings and that might make me bias, but I think his concept is just amazing.

There should be a hidden timing in the normal taunt where it summons the champ wrestler guy (idk the name)

im not fully sure if you saw my video about paddler but pretty much every tiny thing i found that mightve been a bit unbalanced was fixed like right after i made the video lmao. this character is so awesome and one of my all time favorites and one of the best imo. thank you :)

The new Abyss Rune Buddy support doesn't seem to be working? The rune menu comes up but selecting them doesn't apply the effects they list.

does hitting the extra button on donk donk do anything? i cant tell if it does. also it seems you can get the rock from karate man by hitting the button extra early. i might suggest changing it so you have to hit it on the right rhythm in order to get the rock, because right now you essentially get the benefit from using the attack faster and more spammy-like. also quick question about the to-do, why make jab unoarryable??

Hey I don't know if this is intended but neutral-special always turns into the strong version when mashing strong and Kirby's copyability never turns into the strong version.

Actual last idea, some way to summon the wrestler by timing 2 button taps at the end of normal taunt okay sorry for spamming comments

Same for bair with the lingering weak hitbox

This is really good! Small suggestions:
Since uair is just screaming, you could give it a second larger, but weaker hitbox, but that's less important. Since the chorus kid's scream causes the hitbox, it would probably be a good idea to have the hitbox stay out as long as he does. He only actually goes away once the scream ends, so there's no reason not to really.
For side special and neutral special, it would probably be a good idea to have some visual associated with when to time the button press. Like neutral special could just be something gets tossed up from the ground and when he punches it, it changes into a pot or rock depending on his timing. Side special is also easy, just have a little shadow monster pop up a certain distance away when the sound effect happens.
Last idea, not sure if it's a good one, but for at least neutral and side special, maybe add a failure timing for them, if you press the button too late.

I really love Rhythm Heaven, and see a mod with sprites so well done and a such good move set that give all the characters i know and like, ah man, give me such a good feeling. Thanks for the mod and keep improving!

im planning to update paddler with balance changes and new features when necessary.
an update is coming soon and it'll hopefully fix some things people had problems with!

this is really good! main complaints are that side b and standard b dont have sound ques and down b is pretty much useless, hope this gets more updates in the future!
