You mentioned that in an earlier comment. I'm going from personal experience though. In the original RE2 ports, the PS1, N64, and I think the Gamecube port, all had the option to change the blood between red, blue, and green. I prefer blood to be red though. Changing the color of blood should be a built-in feature of any game that has blood, that way it cannot really be censored except by the consumer's volition.

UT2004 had green blood in germany also :D

This mod reminds me of the blood color changer back in Resident Evil 2, and how Ganondorf's blood vomit was turned to green in the 3DS remake of OoT. This bright green blood tends to give a more alien feel, but yeah, I can see it as more like Predator blood. Still, If you have kids, this is a good mod. Pair it with a CI model replacer that lacks gore, and you can let the kids have at the game no problem.

Reminds me of game developers who censor red blood by turning it to green like Ganondorf's blood vomit from Ocarina of Time and the blood splatter from Carmageddon.

Not really, but you could probably ask Ellie, the person who made the HD Bloodmap. I just thought it'd be good to have some consistency between the infected blood and the blood on the melee weapons.

Hey... Tried to type your name but i dont have a russian keyboard (atleast i assume its russian but plez dont get offended in any way if im wrong) anyways cant you change to description of the mod to tell plepz that the survivors and zomb's use the same file for blood. You know telling em its impossible so that these questions stop. Btw this looks beautiful i mean the other green blood mods seem kinda simple and almost 2D but this looks like smooth liquid... Definitely gonna use this with the xeno mod too.

because the survivors and the infected use the same part of the blood particle file. theres no way to "only change it for 1" of them

Nice mod, but like other custom blood textures, it glitches out the blood that gets on your screen after you enter the next level, for some reason.

normaly the decals on walls are green too ill take a look at it when i figured out the account infos of my L4D2 unsencored account xD

Having an issue. When I shoot the zombies (in my case; Xenos) their blood splatter is green but the blood that appears on the walls/floor is default red. Why is this? And is there any way to fix this?
