I am not an expert in modding but why wouldnt uprising work? Its a mod for entropy zero 1, which is already ported to synergy.

Unfortunately, Entropy Zero 2 and Uprising will most likely never be supported in Synergy unless MapBase is merged in the code.
There are other mods in the works that may support these things in the future though.

Awesome mod support! I love Entropy Zero, and it's awesome to see it running in Synergy.

I've created a dedicated server which is mounted with HL2, EP2 and EZ, and it's works great! However, the manhack still isn't present, after I've installed SynFixesDev and SynSweps in the server. Also, the Prototype AR2 is just a reskin of the AR2, and I'm unsure if having SynSweps should add a new version of the AR2 - I'm also unsure if these plugins are supposed to replace the flashlight with nightvision.

Please, let me know if you think there's anything I might be doing wrong. Thanks!

On maps of c2_2 from last ai disable is appeared. Console doesnt help. How it to fix?

It is a problem with the implementation of the workshop by the Synergy devs, there isn't really anything I can do from my end.

There are additional instructions in the description. Most things on the Synergy workshop don't work by just downloading them unless it is a reskin.

When you start the map, is there a timer at the top of the screen counting down? If the support files are not in the right directories, it won't be applied which includes the relations and cutscene fixes.

The space issue might be a Linux server-side issue.

To get it to run on Linux, you may need to change the content loader to not include spaces. Then have it or a link to it from where Synergy is installed eg:
steamapps/common/Synergy/synergy
steamapps/common/EntropyZero

If you follow the Black Mesa server install guide, it uses most of the same plugins for the functions in the custom weapons.

Somehow the fallback teleport was removed, but it has been re-added. It only happens in certain situations, but the intro teleport can break by default set up. It *should* be fine now though.

so the part when you see them bust down the door we spawn in a black box any idea why?

Most of the crashes are engine related to 56.16, I can't really fix them. You can change to the development branch by right clicking Synergy on Steam, go to Properties, then under the Betas tab there will be a drop-down menu, select development -.
As for the vortigaunts and metrocops, I have just re-added some disposition entities that were in the previous version of EZero, but not the latest.

Like the person in the previous comment, I experienced some crashes on some maps, only during the first half of the mod.

- In the introduction, where you see combines about to break through a door, they suddenly turn on you and start attacking you.

- We got a crash in az_c2_1, after sneaking and passing the turrets, after entering the building.

- We got a crash in az_c2_2, after all killing the rebels in the appartments (near the end of the level I guess).


Once you fall in the hole though, the rest of the maps run very well. Except for:


- Those invicibles "Vortigaunts" at the end of the mod. I met one who was invincible and had no choice to run away and complete de puzzle as fast as possible to enter the next map.


- Also we got stuck in that tramway that stopped moving, but we reloaded the map and it was fine after.

Nevermind. Sorry for buggin you but I just kind of gave up on Mod supports, I don't understand the technical stuff.. Makes you wonder what's taking the Dev forever.

SourceMod/Metamod don't run on listen servers. As the description states. If you don't have the plugins, there is only one instance when the manhack weapon is actually required, and it is replaced with a grenade if you don't have the plugins.
You don't have to use an actual dedicated server computer to host the dedicated server version. It just needs a separate install location and a way to invoke the server command line. Then you would just start up Synergy and go to the LAN tab and you should see your locally hosted dedicated server.

Yeah but this is just for two people, through the use of Hamachi. Not dedicated servers.

In order to set up a server with SynFixesDev and SynSweps, the easiest way would be to follow the server install instructions in the "Installing the server" section of the Black Mesa in Synergy guide.

It is supported, every single Mod Support is tested by running through it with multiple people and no crashes.
Opt-out of any beta's for all Synergy HL2, Ep1, and Ep2. You may have to delete your whole Synergy directory to ensure that you actually get a clean re-install. Then use this: http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/app/17520/discussions/0/364041776189504123/ and follow the instructions, then you need to install the version of the mod that the support is for by the download section of each support.
