@Brandon these work fine for me. Do you have the actual Airports DLC, or just the free core game updates released in tandem with the DLC?
@FwhPixelink and @Mr_Bubbles6891 What you're describing sounds like an issue with the game's sprites on certain surfaces. They aren't really visible on lower resolutions, and are actually a slight visual improvement if you're playing on just about any resolution below 1080p. But they are a real ugly eye sore when running at 1080p or 4K. Sub to the "Hide it, Bobby!" mod, activate it, go to the mod's options screen, scroll down to the "Sprites" section, and select the options to hide all 3 types of sprites: "Hide cliff decorations", "Hide grass decorations", "Hide fertile decorations".
A lod-safe gravel-like-surface would require a custom texture.
If that is set to "basic"-shader the network keeps its color at long distance.
But i really should have read the notes - the gravel-lod-bug made me waste a day:-(
