Dust off your toga and sharpen your gladius because tonight you shall once again have an excuse for a trip to antiquity. The time is right for us to release yet another excellent update for our Anniversary Edition of the Rome II Overhaul.
Despite spending most of our time working on last 3 TW titles - Warhammer 2, Three Kingdoms and Troy we are always trying to find some time to do more improvements to our Rome 2 work, and this is our 140th update! Based on your great feedback we are bringing in several balance changes, Ai improvements, bug fixes, visual enhancements and many UI changes. We hope that you will all enjoy!

Today, we have prepared for you something slightly different. As many of you know, we have been releasing mods for more than 12 years, releasing complete overhauls for all TW games since Shogun 2. We keep all of our content fully updated, supporting all DLC and much more.
As such, despite nowadays primarily being pre-occupied with Warhammer 2 and Three Kingdoms, we have decided to return to Rome 2 and Attila to give them some more love. The new updates, released on the Steam Workshop today, offer bug and issue fixes as well as a host of smaller and bigger tweaks. With the incoming catastrophe that Troy is shaping up to be, we thought that keeping these two massive titles in best possible shape is the least we could do to keep historical TWs alive.

1. Unsubscribe from all of your mods/ the problematic mod. Then, go to your Steam\Steamapps\Workshop\Content folder and delete the "weird number" folders. Resubscribe to your mods (make sure you have all 4 parts of our overhaul) and start the launcher to let it download everything again. Try launching the game.
2. If the above step doesn’t work, go to C:\Users(Your Username)\AppData\Roaming. Back up your saves from The Creative Assembly folder there, and then delete the whole folder. Cloud saves will not be affected. Start the game.
Just TWC has some site troubles from time to time.
the multi - language support link on the twc website doesnt work anymore.
I would like to play your mod in german.
It would be very nice to fix this problem because i love this mod.
Less then 4 weeks till new Total War game is here! Three Kingdoms are very close and our team is once again ready to jump in it and create your favourite overhaul for 7th TW game in a row!

However this is extremely time consuming and we have our regular jobs and other family duties to take care so we need to split our resources on many fronts.
