So the peace theme that Syria uses in this mod is Lamma Bada Yatathanna; sung by Lena Chamamyan, the Syrian singer of Armenian descent. This song is released last 2006. But I'm afraid it is one of the songs post-Cold War period. I think that song will be used as Bashar Al Assad's peace theme, while the new peace theme for Hafez Al Assad will be... I'm not sure... What could be the propaganda songs of Syria might be used for Hafez's peace theme... Are there are no other options?

I can't believe that almost a year later with all the bad-assery the Kurds have put forth that no one has developed a Kurdistan mod. If anyone, Kelnahas, you'd be the one to portray them correctly. I have never tried to create a mod but maybe I should. I know nothing about lua or xml and am afraid it might be over my head. However, as a writer and photographer who dabbles in graphic design I am confident that I can help you develop the concept, artwork, and civilopedia entries. I know that already, I've decided to replace all the civs in the game with modern ones with three collections. Starting with this one.

Why does this replace Assyrians? Syria and Assyria are totally unrelated. Thats like the Mongols replacing China.

@rhinosaurus You should DEFINITELY add it to the workshop! I feel like Kurdistan constantly gets overlooked and really they are one of the more admirable and persevering cultures in the Middle East. I would be very excited to check it out!

Do you have any interest in including a Kurdistan civ in your Days Of Sadat project? Their Peshmerga fighters are all the rage in the current Iraqi crISIS and they've been fighting for independence, successfully I might add for many years, at least since Sadat or Thatcher was in office.

If so I have some ideas for unique units, buildings, and improvements and would be willing to contribute artwork such as leader scenes. please let me know if you are interested and how I can help.

I like the idea of new civs, but why do you want to replace this one? Although I haven't been able to play this one, it seems good.

No, I was asking if there was any way to make the Days of Sadat collection not replace any civs. But that's still cool and I look forward to it.

Hey, I first wanted to commend you on this mod series, which may just become my favorite civ collection. I just wanted to let you know that ingame, the syrians obviously use syrian infantry, so the name of the unit when you hover over it is 'Syrian Syrian Infantry'. Just something to keep in mind. Happy holidays!

I just want to let you know that I have only recently discovered your civs but they look incredible and I'm looking forward to any more that you add.
