How does one go about giving the pet a name?

I was working on the mothling a while ago but I encountered a bug with one of the named examination quotes where the game kept crashing (I think it might have been Wortox??)
I'll have to work with Mobbstar to figure out what's causing the crash and do some catching up (although Walter can't adopt pets so I might not have to worry too much about adding code for him)
