This probably shouldn't expand beyond the fog of war. I accidentally used it on Abyssalite and now there's dig errands all across the asteroid that I have to cancel as I reveal them.

I'm not sure how you'd go about fixing this, but I used the chain dig on the Neutronium at the edges of the map in a SO game, and the chain dig spread through the fog-of-war and to the other planetoids!

I suggest you add same features to the cancel and consider what other tool the feature could help. I like replacing all my base walls to granite or insulated or my ladders to plastic, or change a a pipe line or air vent to insulated...

Does this mod make the dupes dig in layers or is it just the same as normal where the dupe will dig randomly and get stuck/unable to continue because of deep drops.

for those who are having iussues with this mod right now make sure you get the mod manager mod as steam isnt pushing the correct versions. this resolved my crashing issues

Before reporting any issue, make sure you have exactly last version which is 1.3.4.2.
Do not report issue on older ones, those are outdated.

Downloaded the new version and my game still crashes. The game will load, but as soon as I queue a dig command, it fails. After disabling this mod, things go back to normal.

Good mod, thanks for your work on this.

Just came to note, and I can confirm with what CyberGenesis is seeing. Consistent mod crash when a ladder plan exists inside a block of tiles (In my case coal). Removing the ladder first before 'shift+click' digging worked around the issue.

seems to be a bug with it ignoring ladders marked over ore - i had a ladder order down, shift+clicked the ore and the mod crashed and the game told me to reload

Tried to hunt down the error - it only *didn't* happen if i removed the ladders first

Renamed mod to Smart Dig as added features which go beyond chain digging.

Changes:
+ Added option to include diagonally connected tiles
+ Added total sum of tiles you digging up when using drag tool, so now it will be for example: 5x4 = 20
