Yes, everybody can walk through. That is by design and no bug as it's just an additional sprite.
The room definition prevents contraband.

mod is at the top of the list, everyone can just walk through the visitor table, when I told them to move it in turned into a standard three seat visitors table, the visitor booth works fine, it is recognised in each room correctly but it is broken, started removing mods to see it another mod is interfering, no change as yet.

This mod touches the room definition of Visitation, so it has to be on top of other mods which redefine that room in order to work properly.

(I wasn't getting the gorilla glass sprite and it was conflicting with my remove room size restrictions mod; it would say the room wasn't indoors and didn't have the table in the room. I had to put this mod at the *very top* of my mod list for it to work... thankfully doesn't appear to interfere with any of the major mods I use so far, but just a heads up for everyone else having this issue. Not fond of needing it at the top of my modlist as I usually keep these types of mods near the bottom as they're usually just "aesthetic" mods and core feature/UI mods usually require higher priority on the list.

You have a mod loaded which doesn't know about visitor tables being able to have 2 sprites, hence it shows the incorrect one. Reorder your mods list and put this one on top of the interfering mod, that will help.

In my game there is a giant guard in place of the visitor table and it does not prevent smuggling.

You either use this mod or the other one and place the table of your choice, the only difference is the room definition, so you can't use both mods at the same time. Both mods have the same objects.

Is there a way to have the best of both mods -- the "open"-style table having contraband and the "reinforced/secure"-style glass-walled table having no contraband, presumably with a much higher cost? No pressure, and no need to implement it if you don't want to -- I'll just use the non-secure version unless you're game for it. =)

You have an interfering mod loaded, I've just checked it and the objects show up as they should. Put this mod on top of the mods list to override the other one(s).
