Would there be a way to activate this for kingdoms? It is absurd that kings are stronger than emperors.
Herr Bellius Von Bunnybutt 30. juli kl. 23:56
can you make a EK compatible version? please?
Pyralis 5. juni kl. 22:45
I don't know if it's because I'm in the middle of a savegame or what, but for some reason my army levies, which default to 131k, are being cut down to 40k with this mod. This shouldn't be the case, since the -45% imperial inefficiency modifier should only be cutting this down to approx. 72k. I've played around with the code since and seen that the numbers will reflect accurately at lower percentages like -4.5%. I'm not sure why this doesn't hold true at higher percentages.

@LezardGraphique You should have a claim on the empire and not be the heir, that should give you the necessary option.

Imperial inefficiency cannot be reduced as a vassal, it's based on the stewardship of the emperor, empress, and steward
LezardGraphique 5. dec. 2024 kl. 3:35
How can we launch or support Court Coup plot as a vassal, do we need to have claim on empire title ? There is some special condition ? Can we interact with as while not beeing the plot leader or the target ?

Can we reduce imperial inefficiency as a vassal, appart beeing a good steward ?
zorro 19. maj 2023 kl. 12:29
Now my empire will see more blood from the rebels
cauc 13. jan. 2023 kl. 18:40
Abbassids have like 2k troops bruh. This inefficientcy is ridiculous
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 2. dec. 2022 kl. 1:42
@Mr. afg I think it should be compatible practically but it might mess with some of the systems they already have implemented
YaHomie 1. dec. 2022 kl. 14:34
Is this mod compateble with Agot?
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 22. nov. 2022 kl. 10:27
@Vision Yes it does!
Vision 21. nov. 2022 kl. 21:22
Vision 21. nov. 2022 kl. 21:21
Still works?
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 1. sep. 2022 kl. 11:24
@Heaselden It's quite difficult to fully remove the penalty but you can do it by increasing your state stewardship (combination of yours+spouse+councillor) or, as a last resort, by creating autonomous vassals. You can do that by interacting with the vassal in question or by right clicking on your portrait and it will suggest which one is most suitable (distant small vassals with different culture/religion that would just be rebels)
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 1. sep. 2022 kl. 11:22
@Aizhaine It's probably because the empire you're forming is too small. There's a game rule to deactivate that
Heaselden 1. sep. 2022 kl. 3:05
Hello, how do I remove the penalty once you are an emperor and recently ascended to the throne? Or does it gradually get lowered as time goes by?

Medium-Low Imperial Inefficiency.
Si O'son 27. aug. 2022 kl. 16:53
everytime i form an empire it collapses i dont know why
Zszywka 29. juni 2022 kl. 8:36
Ok I understand. Thanks for clarification.
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 28. juni 2022 kl. 13:49
@WarpWhistle79 I would like to but unfortunately CK3 doesn't really have some of the mechanics I would need to set this up. I could see if I can think of something simpler but it would take time
Zszywka 28. juni 2022 kl. 13:26
Could you recreate this mod to ck3?
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 28. juni 2022 kl. 11:32
@Comiclove This should work fine if you add it later on, there's nothing really modifying old code
mewgundam 28. juni 2022 kl. 0:06
Is this mod safe to install in a pre-existing save, or will I need to start a new save to (safely) use this? I'm a CK2 noob, so I'm not familiar with how modding works for CK2 overall. I really like the concept of this mod, just don't wanna ruin my Britannia save.
Mr. Kinich 6. mar. 2022 kl. 11:19
Can I release a version of this mod that is compatible with CleanSlate ?
Zszywka 6. jan. 2022 kl. 14:31
Thank you for explain.
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 5. jan. 2022 kl. 13:54
@WarpWhistle79 That should be happening if the empires become too small. Once they become large enough, the king title will return to an empire
Zszywka 5. jan. 2022 kl. 12:47
For me, the titles of empires, e.g. Byzantium, changed sometime to the kingdom tier level.
BassMonke805 27. juli 2021 kl. 12:35
rework mod then ill get it
Kaiser Otto VIII of Bavaria 11. juli 2021 kl. 12:38
@4powerd This mod definitely needs an game rule for less imperial inefficiency from realm size.
4powerd 23. jan. 2021 kl. 17:42
As much as I like this mod in theory, in practice it just doesn't work all that well. Imperial inefficiency starts gathering up as soon as you become Emperor tier, meaning that an Emperor will often be weaker then a King who has the same realm size. Plus temporary tiles like revolt leaders don't suffer from this, meaning revolt leaders against an Emperor often have 2x or 3x the levies as the person revolting against, despite having only 1/3 or half of that land.
Lord 6. okt. 2020 kl. 7:46
Yes it is linur @ilnur
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 8. sep. 2020 kl. 5:07
@ilnur I'm pretty sure that it is. At most you might have some overlapping features
Nurr 8. sep. 2020 kl. 3:46
Is this mod compatitible with Imperial Court Societies mod?
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 2. sep. 2020 kl. 4:58
@Betch I appreciate that! As soon as I get a PC that can run CK3 I'll definitely consider updating my mods for the new game. In the meantime, have fun with CK3!
Pepega 2. sep. 2020 kl. 2:58
I can safely say, im really missing your mod in CK3 right now lol. Fingers crossed.
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 21. aug. 2020 kl. 14:25
@a-really-big-cat Yes, that's what I meant by turn some vassals into autonomous vassals! The bigger the tributary the greater reduction
a-really-big-cat 21. aug. 2020 kl. 11:49
Does releasing them as tributary states also work?
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 21. aug. 2020 kl. 1:17
@a-really-big-cat It is calculated based on your state stewardship and the number of counties in your empire. To reduce it, you can increase your stewardship, get a better steward or turn some vassals into autonomous vassals
a-really-big-cat 20. aug. 2020 kl. 21:10
How is Imperial Inefficiency calculated and how can I reduce it?
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 19. aug. 2020 kl. 1:01
@jamesdefcon1 Random new world shouldn't really affect it. The enhanced rules require that the AI have 3 kingdoms, 150 realm size and be at peace. Also the 3 kingdoms should all have succession laws different from elective or gavelkind
jamesdefcon1 18. aug. 2020 kl. 15:31
How are AI Empires created? An AI Ruler got 3 King titles, but it took a while before he was given a Titular Empire. Why is that?

I should also say I'm playing on Random World, with Custom Empire Creation from Charlemagne DLC disabled, do those affect Enhanced AI Empire Formation in any way?
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 16. aug. 2020 kl. 7:59
@redomer It should all be set up correctly now!
redomer 7. aug. 2020 kl. 3:40
Yeah. That was one of the places where I first looked. The options doesn't seem to show up. Idk if that matters but I am a direct vassal of the Western Protectorate and I am also running a couple of other mods but I don't think those should interfere.
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 7. aug. 2020 kl. 1:02
@redomer Yes, in theory you should be able to right click on your liege and request autonomy. Let me know if it doesn't work and I'll try and correct it
redomer 6. aug. 2020 kl. 17:31
Is it possible to request becoming a autonomous vassal myself? I saw one of my fellow vassals become one.
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 19. juli 2020 kl. 13:40
@yeibu123 All you need is a claim on the empire title and it should work out
yeibu123 19. juli 2020 kl. 12:53
Who can enact a Court Coup, only Courtiers?
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 16. juli 2020 kl. 14:01
@Betch Thanks! I'm not sure how soon I'll be able to get CK3 but I'd definitely like to find a way to port my mods when I do!
Pepega 16. juli 2020 kl. 13:44
I hope you can recreate (and make it even better!) this mod in CK3. Good work.
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 12. juli 2020 kl. 5:37
@yeibu123 Basically it is a regular plot where you need to gather courtiers to your side. Once you trigger it (sort of like for "demand gavelkind") you get into an event chain where you make choices on how to go about the plot. Based on that and the starting plot power, you either get caught and imprisoned, return home unharmed but the emperor can imprison you, or you become emperor and get to choose what to do with the old one
yeibu123 11. juli 2020 kl. 18:19
How does the Court Coup Work?
Slothinator  [ophavsmand] 5. juli 2020 kl. 3:20
@devve ♥♥ they need to be your vassal and at peace. Also you need to be at peace and a non-tribal empire
