Leaving two cubes behind with no purpose in the end is a little unsatisfying ;-(
My solutions felt intended, but I'm guessing there are slightly different solutions possible. Going to watch the walkthrough now.
Playthrough video
Cube throwing is a petty attempt of players that only ruins the fun for themselves. I would rather not compromise the design of this puzzle because of it. If I manage to find inspiration to fix it in Hammer, I might. I've yet to watch your playthrough, so I can't assess if it's intended.
I also think that it is possible to trap yourself where you cannot finish the map and cannot get to the reset. If you activate the faith plate that lands you on the CSF, then remove the cube from the button that opens the center CSF, then use the faith plate, you cannot get back to the reset.
