I know this is recommended as part of the combined TROM + TUP list etc. along with the above mod, but it seems to prevent bandit banners on the campaign UI from showing the new art for all the bandit factions where its used on settlement names, doesn't seem to affect any other faction.

I've tested it and It doesn't matter whether I place this mod or the map mod at the bottom of the top of the list, if its enabled it stops the bandit flag art from working on the UI.

Was suggested to mention it here rather than on the other page.

Could you release a version without the Chinese letter on the flag? I want my successor to be someone that isn't the current Rulers surname and it's weird to have a letter on my flag for my successor with a letter that doesn't really have anything to do with him/her. Love the logo design though.

Now i just need to find mod to simplify commander's name...

Très bon mode, je sais que ça date, mais je voudrais juste signaler un bug au niveau de la faction de zhang yan, c'est le seul drapeau qui ne marche pas sur la carte de campagne, il fonctionne juste en bataille, si vous êtes encore sur le jeux, pouvez vous corriger ça ? Et si vous êtes encore en activité, ça serait cool de faire d'autres factions car je trouve les drapeaux vraiment très beau ;) Et aussi j'ai remarqué que la couleur de Yuan shu et Liu chong sont les même, peut être inversé la couleur ou changer la couleur serait pas mal ?

Cannot get it to work with Wu or Radios

Possible to make a mod that just changes the flags/banners and doesn't alter uniform colors? Or add more colorful colors. Still can't believe that almost all the mods that affect colors have units looking dull and drab, sort of like prison uniforms.

Sun Jian custom uniform colors did not transfer over to Sun Ce faction for both the 194 abd 200 starts.

if you play other faction the mod will work, so leave the mod in the middle, but if you play Dong Zhuo, the mod doesn't work, only play 190, 182 can't play

It does not crash for me but the battle map shows weird graphical glitch during battles every now & then

As of right now it just crashes in 1.7.1.

Does it need an update? Because for whatever reason it doesnt work for me, crashes even before Sega Logo Clip, everything else works fine, maybe due to fates divided? Havent been here a while.

Hey, I am using LuBu customised version 3 mod which gives him a helmet and this mod changes the colour of the tassel on the back of it from red to black, I was wondering if you could tell me what I can change using RPFM to stop this from happening? Thanks

Love the new Liu Yan flag. but little suggestion is to make the top and the bottom of the flag contain the decoration that major factions have.

Idk why but with this last patch the workshop is just mad with mod updates, so i had to unsuscribe, clear the mod folder or restart steam and subscribe again in order to make your mod work (was getting crashes with just a mod update).
It happens with a lot of mods sadly.
Btw, do you think the mod would work with alex zhao one that change your faction name and flag to han empire if you choose to reinstate?... i was looking through the tables, and doesnt look like there will be a conflict.

@DarthBaylen the author was kind enough to come back and is working on updating it, but has recently hit a snag. Please be patient as they try to figure out the problem, as the mod is well worth it and they seem like a pretty cool chap.

My best *guess*, heavy emphasis on *GUESS* cuz I'm just working from the generally-universal way code works, is if you're getting 147 invalid references that all fit into the same category (DLC04 Factions), something is trying to access stuff from a specific file and isn't able to, resulting in every reference to something in said file being invalid. I suggest looking around to see if you can spot somewhere that realistically should be loading in whatever file has those factions and is not doing so (which might be a needle in a haystack situation cuz you're kinda looking for a "missing" line of code instead of a "wrong" one)

Hopefully that gives you a new angle of attack.

I do know that it seems as if 1.7 did some switching from binary files to .xml files, Perhaps some file extensions need retargeted somewhere within the code?
The good news is if I'm even remotely right, you really should only have one bug to find and fix instead of 147 different ones. Silver linings?

Also admittedly I know jack about modding TW but if you're getting that many invalid reference errors, it sounds like you have a file trying to call/link to another file where all those references should be and it's not doing that.

Maybe CA's engine is all kinds of wonky or something (which, let's be real, it's CA, I wouldn't be surprised if it's all spaghetti code under the hood and I haven't even looked at it) or maybe their hierarchy system makes no sense, but typically a large number of the same type of error is actually all just one error that happens to have 147 references to it.

1) I've been using your mod so long that when I had to disable it cuz of the latest patch I realized I'd forgotten what a massive improvement your flags are lol

2) I wish you the best of luck in solving your issue, but please don't forget that regardless of whether it's possible, your work is quality and your efforts are appreciated.

3) Is your mod savegame compatible? The more I play the shorter my campaigns end but, still, I seriously miss the changes you've made so I'd facepalm pretty hard if you did manage to get it updated and my impatient ass started a new campaign lol
