I just had a wierd bug, where all falen empires would instantly awaken after like 20 years from game start. I don't know why, and if this mod had anything to do with it, but yeah, wierd

Seems like there's still a hard generation cap of 7? and I know because I made a 7500 star galaxy and lowered the min and optimal distance really low.

played the 1st time with this mod. great concept but very buggy. 2 fallen empires from the mod awakened and attacked each other without a War in Heaven and they literally ignored me while i became a Galactic Nemesis and destroyed the galaxy. Devouring Swarm AE also woke up mid-game in my border and didn't do anything till it was attacked by the authoritarian AE.

But note my other mods for Higher fallen empire limit have been broken as the game seems to crash if you try to start a game with lots of empires (normal or fallen)

if anyone still getting new fallem empire spawn as despicable neutrals its most likely due to expanded ethics and civis mod, or ones like it.
It changes the requirements for imperial authority type which is what a fallen empires spawn as. FEs do not spawn with Authoritarian ethic so the game does not know how to make the 'country' at game start, this is also the same for emergent factions that spawn mid game too. I dont know of any compatch though

tbh i think it'd be cool for there to be some kind of compatibility or merger mod for this and origin fallen empire but i'm not really that good with making large stellaris mods or working with the game startup either

Could we set this the Hive Mind digsite to never trigger for AIs? I ALWAYS end up having to deal with them early because some fucking idiot AI unleashes them like in 2300

I belive with acot and Gigas these empires spawn broken or lacking in power (like 10 times difference)

Am I just being extremely unlucky or is there something wrong? In almost every game I get either the hivemind empire, which awakens very quickly and destroys everything, or the weapons testing division, which also awakens and destroys everything? Or both. Around the point where I have maybe 20k in fleet power total, as do the other empires!

Would you take a look at the hivemind code? Dig site finishes but the icon bugs out, also the empire spawned with no fleets.

@Daniel, I sent you some notes on discord a few months back about a fix to the Tiyanki system. I don't see that fix in your mod yet, so if you don't mind, I'm going to upload my patch for it.

Two problems:
1) The hive spawns either with week fleets or no fleets, as it always get awakened as someone declares preventive war in or around 2250, absolutely unstopable
b) The machine empire uses the L-gate to wreck the grey tempest, so it never gets unleashed in the galaxy for more than a few years

All credit goes to mod authors! I just fix things. I'll try to have the bug branch comp patch out in a bit. I want to check through events to see if there's any other way for FEs to be spawned by this mod.

For anyone else looking to make an ethics and civics patch - the issue I found was that the ethics mods change the requirements for authorities. Since FEs have a single fanatic authority, this means they don't quality to be, eg, Imperial. Bug Branch has an override civic to allow Imperial FEs without the right ethic, and I suspect other ethics mods do something similar.

This mod needs a compatibility patch to work correctly with the likes of Ethics & Civics Expanded, otherwise the custom fallen empires spawn with no name or ethics in most cases.

Hi! The mod crisis manager allows you to configure the War in heaven to only happen between opposing ethos, I wonder if you have tested the interactions with this mod?
